Sawmill Cottage Farm

A picturesque, country Victorian experience. Surrounded by beautiful bush land, the cottage has a fantastic outlook and plenty to see and do. A bright and warm pool is at your disposal, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. The cottage has everything you need and is so so comfortable. Bacon and eggs for breakfast, tea coffee and the decor is very cool! Tab is the most amazing host, helpful, knowledgeable and a lovely person just to have a chat. Thank you for having us, strongly recommend!

Amazing hosts who make you feel a part of the family and country life. Heaps of animals to keep you company during your visit including 3 dogs! The cottage has a wonderful decor with a potbelly fire that gives the whole place a cosy feeling. There’s also an outdoor fire pit if you want to do some stargazing at night. This is best enjoyed with a glass of wine from the King Valley region. If you’re lucky, you might even get to feed Dolly the jersey cow an orange!

This is what an Airbnb should be and was intended to be - not just the bare essentials but personal touches everywhere, bits of history created in a story book with sawmill features incorporated into the decor. The cozy wood fire is a magical touch in the winter cold. You feel like you’re staying at someone’s home.

The farm is full of friendly animals and life, it’s like Noah’s Ark! Dogs, chooks, geese, turkeys, peacocks all hanging just outside your porch. We were very lucky to arrive the day after lambs were born, so we got to cuddle gorgeous tiny baby lambs!! Two pet goats super friendly and love a scratch too.

Finally, can’t leave a review without giving a shout out to the wonderful and lovely owners, Tab & Terry. Warm and big hearted people having adopted so many animals here. Thank you!
