Hilltops Retreat Motor Inn

Definitely the place to be when staying in Young NSW. The place isn't new but with age its grown into a very homely environment, and the maintenance done inside makes it feel new. Beds feel like therapy and so does the bathroom with all you're needs supplied so forget your toilet bag not needed. And then there's the restaurant!! Did not expect it but with everything else I guess explained why the food was so good. Big ups to the owners and staff as im feeling very content ;-)

This motel is simple, clean and has everything you need. It is nestled among some small pretty farms and just 2mins drive from the centre of Young's township. There are a few friendly ponies and llamas in the adjacent farm which love the motel visitors and come up close to be patted or fed. Pierre the Motel Manager is awesome and attends to any of your needs.
Have stayed here often and just recently. Fully recommend it.

My friends and I stayed at Hilltops for the weekend and we all loved it. The rooms were
spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was a fantastic size for 4 women. For breakfast I recommend the omelette, its delicious and it will carry you till lunchtime. Look out for Tom the welcoming cat, he is very friendly to visitors. We are definitely staying here again

Stayed in a family room (Queen & 2 singles) and it was very spacious, great facilities. They have little horses and a Llama to visit and an awesome little children's playground. We ordered breakfast and it was all very yummy. Overall was an awesome stay

Our experience and stay was positive in every respect. It is not new but it is also certainly not dated or under maintained. Our rooms were large and clean with everything you would expect and want in the bathroom, fridge and cupboards. Our dinners in the onsite restaurant were better than good, as was the service. I rate our recent stay a 9/10.

Pierre and his team are great and always super friendly. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy and theres even some farm life to get close to! Pool is also a welcome sight in summer.

Attached restaurant is second to none in young!

Me and my husband stay here when coming to visit family. Thank you to my sister in laws for recommending this place to us. Spacious , comfortable , clean and the welcoming owner Pierre. Will always be staying here when coming to Young.

Above expectations... Well appointed, very clean, comfortable and quiet with lots of thoughtful touches including sports equipment for children, a barbecue with tools, a bucket and squeegee to clean windscreens and a friendly cat. Low key in the best way.

It's a nice place to stay. The resturant food quality is sensational but be prepared to pay for it. The resident cat, Lama and miniature horse's are very people friendly. This is our regular place to stay when in Young!

Clean, well appointed room, with the back opening up to a pleasant grass area. The owner aims to please guests. We had a relaxing time and we will return on our next journey.

Even the llama's, mini horses & the house cat we're friendly.

Clean and inexpensive. My son and daughter in law stayed there and said it was good. We went and used the pool on their invitation. Was great.
