Quaff Restaurant & Private Function Rooms

Had a sensational few hours in this beautiful little restaurant, and the food was superbly cooked & served. The Staff were lovely and atmosphere inviting. Will be back again soon!

Friendly service, nice drinks, and good atmosphere. Kitchen apparently closes early if it's a slow day so probably don't come late at night like I did if food was what you were going after for.

“Quaff” is undeniably the best place in Melbourne for Soufflé, to which they always have sweet and savoury options. Reliable and unbeatable.

Visited this Restaurant on Thursday 21st November and was presently surprised as it was easy parking out back of Toorak Road.
Nice ambiance on entering with great service during the complete dining as Waiters were very attentive. Table settings were excellent with fresh clean Tablecloths. Prices were very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food received. Would definitely return to this Restaurant again in the future as it was a great experience for us. Thank you Quaff. Have returned on two more occasions once for lunch and another with a small party of 12 people where we had our Dinner in the private room upstairs which is a beautiful room with a large Bay window looking out onto Toorak Road. The service and food was absolutely wonderful. Will definitely return again and again.

There was nothing to fault on our first and recent Friday visit. While the restaurant seemed a little quiet, this mostly worked in our favour though we would have enjoyed slightly more time between our entrees (superb brains and delicious pork belly) and our mains of braised beef cheek and steak. The food was absolutely superb and we were able to match it with a well priced glass of red. The customer service was also spot on, making it a hard to beat dining experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Service is exceptional!!! Can't speak highly enough of this restaurant. Very helpful & friendly staff, top quality meals with amazing flavours from the freshest produce. Terrific menu selections and all special diet requirements met for our group. Function room elegantly decorated and private. Highly Recommended!!

An elegant restaurant with lovely starched white tablecloths. Very quiet even though it's on Toorak Road. A great menu with European, Asian and modern Australian dishes. They also have a set luncheon menu of two or three courses including a glass of wine. Amazing souffles, light as a feather. All beautifully presented and delicious. They also have private function rooms upstairs. Will definitely return.

This is a favourite of both my wife and I, and we have never been let down by either the service or the quality of the food. A big draw card is this is one of the few restaurants that will regularly have souffle on their menu and they have done it perfectly every time we have had it, and that is quite a few times let me say. All in all an excellent dining experience and one to revisit.

Fantastic! We moved just to Melbourne just 6 months gone and have been eating out regularly as part of getting into the swing of things. To have our favourite restaurant only metres away is priceless - we have eaten there upwards of half a dozen times and the food and service has been phenomenal.

The staff there have been very accommodating, even up to the point where we had been eating elsewhere for dinner with guests and due to the poor experience we bugged out before dessert and headed straight for Quaff. They took us on a Saturday night at 10:15pm and we didn't leave until close to 12am - and not a grimace or pained look to be seen.

The food & wine are a little dearer than the rest on offer at Toorak Village but if you value service & good food, go to Quaff.

Excellent restaurant. Quaff make dining such a pleasurable experience for you. The restaurant is very well decorated in a stylish and yet traditional way. The huge amount of bottles stacked there makes the atmosphere in the restaurant even more warm and comfortable. Additionally all the staff are very polite and welcoming. The simply know their job so well, that you won't be having any difficulties in choosing a dish and a suitable wine. And as for the latter they have a wide selection of very good wines and the food is just as good. I recommend ordering the roasted lamb as it is really tasty.

Good food at a reasonable price. Excellent service - they even allowed us to move tables part way through a meal! We're regulars. Do yourself a favour: go there. A plus is they let you BYO wine on Sunday & Monday nights - $10 per bottle!

My wife and I had our wedding here and from start to finish we were treated with the highest standard of customer service and delivery.

The Manager Bruce is an absolute legend.
He was really helpful with all our enquiries and super accomodating for all our needs.

We organised our own flowers, table settings and decorations for the wedding and Bruce was happy with allowing us to bring them in the night before.
The staff then kindly set the tables and placed the decorations in position for us prior to our arrival on the day of wedding, which alleviated any stress for us. However this may be an enquiry that needs to be made prior to booking.

Whilst we only had a small wedding of 40 guests, Bruce was able to allocate two seperate rooms upstairs of the venue - the White Room for the wedding itself and the Crystal Room for the reception.

The wait staff were really friendly and on top of the service.
Drinks were constantly refilled, food was delivered in good time and plates cleared in an orderly fashion.

The quality of food is at a very high standard.
We had a mix of red meats, fish and pasta for entrees and mains and they were all delicious options.
The choice of alcohol varies and is reasonable in price

In the heart of Toorak Village, the location is on point and plenty of parking in the area.

If you're looking for an affordable and great location for any event, this would be a venue you would not regret hiring.

This is a GORGEOUS restaurant in in the heart of toorak village. Really good food, probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. I've tried a few things over the years, never disappointed. A great wine list. But NOTE, on a Sunday and Monday for a small corkage fee it's BYO. we are not bid desert people, HOWEVER we always share a desert here. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Good as a couple, FABULOUS as a group. Staff always delightful and happy to meet your needs.

The staff here could not have been more helpful in assisting with my wife's 50th birthday celebrations - the White Room is cosy and very reasonably priced for what it offers. Of over 10 options we visited for my wife's 50th, this was far and away the best priced for what we wanted for the amount of guests (40) we had invited. We had access to the White Room a few hours before the party to set up as we wanted. Staff were on hand to understand our requirements during the evening and made sure our guests were provided the best possible service. I couldn't fault this place - definitely recommend.

Nice family friendly restaurant with good food and wine. Fish pie and fish fillet was delectable. Staff was friendly too. I went on a Monday evening and it was nearly empty. Overall nice calm and silent restaurant.

The food was excellent and very delicious. From the zucchini flower entry, the duck, the chicken main meal and the dessert of coconut and lime souffle - everything was a real delight. Excellent presentation. 10/10

Nice flavours and texture, well presented dishes. Cooked perfectly from the french fries to the kangaroo, the mash is divine. The service is great. Do yourself a favour and go and enjoy!

Our function was professionally hosted, the food was excellent and the service smooth and discreet. The function room easily hosted our table of 20 with plenty of room to move about.

Recently held a function in the White Room. Couldn't fault the attentiveness, friendliness of staff during planning and execution. Food was delicious and a lovely space to allow personalisation of the event. Highly recommend organising a function here.
