Try the chicken pie . Flaky pie with a lot of flavor. Just buy the pies , you will not be sorry.

This is a great country town bakery offering a huge range of all the classics you would expect. Pastie was crunchy, buttery and packed full of tasty veg. Pies were great and salad roll was fresh and delicious too. Finished off with a caramel slice and coffee which were very good. Glad we stopped in on our drive south.

Really lovely Pies, beautiful pastry and filled with non-sloppy fillings. I loved the chicken pie. But omg! The cakes! The Bee stings were soooo fresh, filled with cream and custard. We called in again on our way home from Victoria to enjoy them all over again! (Just be aware if you order hot chips with the Pies, they may arrive when you have finished the Pies. A good sized serving and really nice chips but they just came late. Very nice coffee too. We will be stopping there with each trip to Victoria now, instead of Gundagai. So much better😍

I am giving these legends five stars purely on the basis of an absolutely slapping roast beef and gravy roll that I ate a month ago.

It was so good, that even as my Dad and I sat outside eating it, a passing couple clutching their very pedestrian pies in paper bags gazed with misty-eyed admiration at the rolls they *could* have ordered but didn't, and said covetously "You guys must be locals".

We are definitely not. My Dad is from Sydney and he loves meat and I just ordered it cos I thought it was a good idea and I never really get roast beef rolls, so why not?

I am looking forward to the next time I drive to Melbourne just so I can go and get another of these superlative roast beef and gravy rolls.

Tried the garlic steak, roast beef & gravy and the lamb & rosemary, the lamb was my favourite with a strong rosemary flavour.

Decent chunks of meat in them too and plenty of parking around the area when we visited.

Omg! A real sized wagon wheel - just how we remember them.
We enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea. Took a little while for the drinks to arrive, and the lady was very apologetic.
Would definitely visit again.

Always a go to on our drive to Melbourne. This little bakery is awesome, food is great and the staff are always lovely.
The pies and sausage rolls are great and the large wagon wheels are so food and a great flash back to a lunch box treat and oversize.
Do yourself a favor and one for you and the kids.

Tastiest pie I've ever eaten!! Do your self a favour & stop into Holbrook for a treat. Hubby raved about his Steak & Mushroom pie full of tender meat with tasty mushrooms & hot to bite into, something rare. I had the Country Chicken pie full of chicken pieces & the most delicious filling 😋 Tasty pastry & doesn't fall apart, plus we finally found an Apple turnover without cream!! Amazingly good 👍

One of the best Bakeries in NSW. I've tried just about everything, especially the desserts. The family love Holbrook Bakery just as much as I do! It is a definite stop everytime we drive past!!!
I highly recommend stopping by and trying anything and everything on the menu!!

I think this might win best pies in Australia. Had 4 pies here: Country chicken, Hamburger (which literally tasted like a triple cheeseburger in pie pastry), lamb and rosemary (very juicy and smooth), and steak + mushroom. Also had a sausage roll. The pastry doesn’t flake too much but it is perfectly crisp.

Stopped in twice last week on our way to and then home from Sydney and our kids absolutely loved this bakery. The pies were awesome, coffee terrific and the cakes were sensational! A very busy little shop with lovely staff

What can I say? This has to be one of the best bakeries in Australia. Great staff and service with excellent selection of cakes and pies. If travelling past Holbrook, make sure you take a diversion and drop in.

Our favorite go to spot to and from Melbourne. Great food quick service. The only drawback is they often sell out of the favorites because they are so popular. Highly recommended

Definitely worthwhile stopping at the Holbrook bakery as you head up or down the Hume.. Pies and cakes were fresh and delicious! 100% deserves the 5 stars!

Plain meat pie was really good, the flaky pastry just right. Worth the detour off the highway. Service excellent. Thankyou.

On the way back to sydney, we stopped at Bakery and found it nice. We order d potato wedges, it was really good and lot of quantity. Price was reasonably good.

Stopped in for breaky after the Anzac dawn service and we were so glad we did!

Great breaky burgers - loved the Benedict one with hollandaise sauce.

Also loved the freshly baked Anzac biscuits which were a lovely surprise with our coffees (so much so, we went back to buy some for the road)!

I heard these guys do some damn good pies, so we can’t wait to try them next time :)

The experience from start to finish was 5 stars. Atmosphere was fantastic and the service and food was even better. Would definitely recommend

My partner and I have just enjoyed a yummy pie and pastie. Very tasty and with light fluffy pastry and made with love and care. We will remember and return here again. Thankyou Holbrook Bakery
