This family-run cafe has a charming, old-world vibe, likely over 30 years old. However, the age doesn't reflect the taste; the food is delicious, and the service is commendable. Highly recommend supporting this local gem.

I've been going to this place for a decade and it's a cafe that's outlived many others in the same area. Family owned service and great food, tea is beyond excellent and great coffee ☕ if you visit Toorak this is a must stop location.

Well, what can I say about this little gem, what a find in Toorak. I had the Calamari salad & chips. The calamari were crispy and light, the salad was fresh and crunchy as were the chips and yummy. I had a pot of tea which was a proper pot. This family run business to me is great. People can sit and talk, and you're not rush out. Would not change a thing.

Reviews talking about pensioners aren't necessarily wrong, however, this is honestly one of the nicest places for me to take older family members (including those with accessibility issues). The staff is very patient and accommodating (for example, this is the only café in Toorak village that we've been to that hasn't had an issue with us asking for food to be cut up prior to serving) and there is so much space that I never have to worry about waiting for a table. I've come here consistently at least several times a month for about a year now and haven't had any issues with the quality of the food or the service. I often also see families with young children come here too.

the best spaggetti marinara i have had in the past 50 odd years, and very reasonably priced, i got takeaway as we are in lock down here in Melbourne for 6 weeks.

Nice cosy local cafe with good brunch selections, if you don't want to drive far or line up for long, this is a great place nearby

Last week i had Risotto at Funkies Restaurant at Toorak Village. Its was great Expernice.
Pepole should try that Restaurant if they are around in that area.
