Dargo River Inn

Our family stayed here on a powered van site for 3 nights in March .
It surely is a piece of heaven .
The location is just perfect over looking the mountains with new and clean toilets and showers for campers & those in vans . A large grassed area for games and sporting . Perfect place for family's.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming .
The pub was also family friendly and offered cold drinks, meals and desserts.
We will defiantly be coming back

Kelly & Termite have been wonderful hosts on both occasions we have stayed with them.
The first time we came, in May 2023, we set up our tent in the dark and rain, and Kelly, very concerned for us, offered to come and shine her vehicle lights on the site, and also offered to supply some towels to help dry everything. She was also prepared to keep the kitchen open longer than usual so that we wouldn’t miss out on dinner.
On our most recent visit, November 2023, we booked and stayed in a cabin with some friends.
The cabin was very comfortable and Kelly was very accommodating when any extra supplies were needed. Despite this only being our second visit, 6 mths later, Kelly had no trouble recognising us and recalling our last visit.
We ate in the dining room nearly every night we stayed, both visits, and were never disappointed in any way with either the food or the service. All staff are very friendly and more than happy to do anything possible to assist their customers.

I stayed in a powered camp site. Great location - woken to the sound of cows saying hello to each other in the morning competing with birds for volume! Each year the friendly owners are making improvements for campers and I look forward to returning next year.

Beautiful place with beautiful people. Kelly and others were very kind. Great ambience, nature, a good pub, massive Parma. Overall we had a really good time and would recommend and love to be back again here.

Had an amazing stay at the Dargo River Inn. Its one of the best cabins we’ve stayed in, economical and views next to none. The adjoining pub and staff were great too. Definitely coming back

Bloody beautiful, The rooms are dormatory like but the beds are awesome and the amenities are wonderfully retro and sufficient. It is so nice to be able to see such a beautiful scene every morning.
I couldn't recommend this more, such a great experience.

Fantastic place to stay. Great value accommodation, meals & drinks. Hosts very friendly. If you want the real Dargo experience you need to drink where the locals drink and thats the Dargo River Inn.

We used powered site. Toilets , although portable were clean. Showers what we used were portable. Bit congested but showers were nice and hot. As the inn is attached was convenient for food and drink. Food was good and reasonably priced.Hosts were nice. Would recommend whole heartedly.

Camped out the back last weekend myself & 2 other lads. Had an absolute ripper time. The campground/showers/toilets very well kept, the people absolute rippers. Kelly & Termite were absolutely great. We spent 12hrs in the pub Saturday and didn’t for one second want to go elsewhere. Kelly beat the 3 of us in pool (shark watch out).
Great for family’s & great for groups. Highly recommend. Will be back for sure.

After a booking error on my part, Kelly not only pointed it out but promptly corrected it making sure we were set for our stay. The cabin was super clean and had all the facilities we could need. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children and ate dinner at the Inn which was great! We had a fantastic night at the Inn and couldn't recommend it any higher. We will definitely be back!

You really need to get to this place and try the meals , huge parmi first night and dinosaur 🦕 steak the next. Perfection would be an understatement.

Absolutely loved our stay, we will definitely be back! Our group booked two cabins (CROOKED RIVER & WONGUNGARRA) we were running very late for our check-in due to being stuck on an off road track. Not only did Kelly call to check up on us, but when we lost reception she msged for when we would receive it. Kitchen would of closed by the time we got there, so she offered to have some meals cooked and we could reheat in our cabins. She even turned the heaters on in our cabins for when we finally arrived. Our cabins were clean with fresh sheets. You won’t be disappointed here, such a beautiful place to getaway. Kelly is also the most sweetest inn keeper it was a pleasure being looked after by her.

A great place to stay when visiting the area. The cabins are large clean and well equipped. The mountain views from the deck on each cabin is very relaxing. There is also a pub on site which provides great meals, has very friendly staff and locals. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It is close to the town centre an easy walk and also easy access to all other local attractions. I would recommend the DARGO River Inn when staying in the area.

We have stayed here a couple of times since Kelly and termite have taken over. We have utilised both the camping area and a powered site for a longer stay. Dargo river inn provides a fantastic location to base camp for long periods or just a nice spot to sit back and loose yourself with the mountain views out over the river flats. We dined twice and found the meals delicious and portion sizes were perfect. The drinks we had were served with a smile and bit of banter every time. I cannot recommend Dargo River Inn and will definitely be going back numerous times.

Kel and Greg (Termite) are fantastic hosts. Very accommodating to our large group for two stays so far. Family friendly park and great pub with great food. Very clean and welcoming. Try the Chicken Kiev. Thanks again for a great time
