Iron Pot Bay Vineyard

We stopped into this charming winery today and were cheerfully welcomed by owner Juieanne and her daughter Ashli. The building dates from 1907 and has a lovely backstory. Iron Pot winery is ten years old and has an impressive selection of wines to taste. We thought for the high standard, they were very competitively priced. My twenty something visitors learnt some great wine tips from Ashli. The courtyard can host intimate weddings. The one level building and bathrooms is accessible for those in a wheelchair or mobility challenged. Some interesting art installations delighted my visitors. We left with a great experience , a car full of excellent wine and two new friends. We will be back.

We visited this winery as part of a tour with Tamar Valley Winery Tours. The wines were very good and the lunch in the beautiful garden setting was amazing. We had a tasting plate for 2 with a selection of small tapas style items and the food was exquisite.

Went today for a wine tasting, we showed up late expecting to be turned away but thought we’d try our luck as we were in the area. To our surprise we were welcomed with open arms by the owners after they’d spent a long day in the vines.
Really down to earth service from people who love sharing their stories and passion with their customers.
Great wines too! Don’t be put off by their humble cellar door, absolutely worth the stop!

Lovely Saturday lunch! We were lucky enough to be seated by the fireplace on a cold winter day. Friendly, attentive staff and delicious food. Save room for the lemon meringue tart!

Must visit vineyard, got some great wine and a very homely service. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience here with our welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable host and winemaker, Ashli, who talked us through each of the delicious wines in our wine tasting list. We enjoyed all of them but the Pinot noir and the dessert wine were real highlights. We look forward to seeing what you create in the future Ashli!

Very affordable wine tasting and Juiliene was so lovely. It's boutique but worth dropping by.
Would also recommend checking out the cherry farm nearby (Google and you shall find!), the farm tour was absolutely fantastic 👍🏻

We went for wine tasting at AUD 5 (super affordable and definitely value for money for the quality of wine!) per pax where we could taste 9 different wines.

Our tasting was served by the owner’s daughter, Ashli. She was knowledgeable, passionate and was able to explain each of the 9 different wines in great detail. It was an informative and enjoyable tasting experience which we would highly recommend!

The absolute best place that we visited on our trip! The wines were incredible, the people were so so lovely to talk to and just all round we had the most lovely time! We will be back with more of our family in November, this place is a MUST!

Started at the winery. Purchased a couple of dozen beautiful wines then headed around to the restaurant for lunch. Eight of us all agreed the food, atmosphere and wines were just perfect. Personally best salmon dish I’ve ever had. Others enjoyed pulled pork and don’t go past apple crumble.

Iron Pot Bay Vineyard was so accommodating to our pathetically anxious dog. The wines were great and the tasting fee was extremely reasonable. Such a great little winery! Highly recommend a visit here.
