Quality country Pub to stop off at after a day on the road , the beer is cold as ice and quenches the thirst just nicely. After a few cold ones you have a good selection on the menu for dinner we ordered 5 meals and they were all on point and well above the normal pub standards . We all had to many beers so booked accommodation and that too was well above standards for price and quality. Will definitely be back . Cheers 🍻

Please ignore city-slicker Abdul and his petty negativity. Room was clean and perfectly adequate for a night stopover on road trip west-east. Hot shower, very comfy single bed (room 4). Cup of tea on outdoor seats before heading off. It was just a shame we arrived after closing time! Will try and come back for a meal and a drink another time.

The Manang Family Hotel have had a recent change of hands and it's already showing. Hats off to the new owners, they're currently doing a stellar job and only 10 weeks into taking over with some great future ideas for growth. Keep up the great work team!

Kitchen staff (10/10) - Don't go past the steak! Chef Coral does one of the best going around. Hands down one of the greatest feeds I've had while travelling in regional VIC. Super hospitable and always willing to go above and beyond!

Front of house staff (11/10) - Paddy is an absolute superstar running the front bar. Never short of a conversation and incredibly warm and welcoming.

If you're driving past please make the effort to stop in for a beer! Great owners, great service, and a great local crowd to have a laugh with.

Best pizza I've ever had. Seriously!
Warmest welcome and just a great atmosphere. Older rooms but clean, plenty of tea and coffee and milk!! Lobed our little stay here. Clean town too. Just a pleasure.

One of the best country pubs in Victoria.

Meals are the best in the district. Haven't had such a good Sunday Lunch from Swan Hill to Mildura. Definitely worth a detour. The guiness pie and, bouble and squeek are amazing. Service was friendly and the chef catered to every taste with no fuss or bother. 5 Stars all the way. Really hreat value, taste and service.

New owners (8 weeks ago) are creating a family hotel with their family.

We were driving through on our way to Adelaide and decided to stay here for the night. Even though it’s quite dated, the rooms are clean, the beds are really comfy and the shower is hot. We went to the hotel for dinner, the food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere with the locals was fantastic. My husband and I enjoyed a few games of pool.

Friendly and inviting staff. The rooms were tidy and comfortable. They have a great chef. Dinner was amazing both nights.

Had to make an inpromptu reservation here. Called ahead only a few hours earlier but the staff on the phone was still happy to provide us a room. The lady at the bar was extremely friendly and took care of us well. Rooms were ok, bit on the older side but all the amenities were provided.

It was a small town so there wasnt anywhere else we could eat for dinner. So we went to the in-house kitchen not expecting much. We were surprised how good the food was. We ordered Pizza, Calamari and Spring rolls. The pizza had a great homely taste to it, truly reminded me of home, Calamari with the salad was tasty too. Service wasnt too busy and had a great overall atmosphere. The whole town seemed very strange to us when we first arrived (no network, very less people around) but our experience completely changed after staying here.

What a fantastic pub. We found this hotel on our travels and it was a very pleasant suprise. Great meals, cold beer and very clean . Older style pub but owners Cheryl and Kevin have done an amazing job with the decor. It is very comfortable and welcoming. Kevin and Cheryl went to great lengths to ensure our overnight stay was comfortable and we really enjoyed their company and hospitality. Loved having a drink and meeting the locals

When travelling through this little quaint town I stumbled upon a very welcoming pub and publican. The pub has a homely feel which is supported wholly but the lovely staff and locals.

The beer was cold and the meals are great pub meals ie delicious and satisfying.

Whether you are passing through or pitching your caravan or truck across the road I’d recommend you pop in for a nice cold beer served by nice country people who are always up for a chat to hear your story.

Also, they do the best take away alcohol prices in town

Very accommodating and and hospitable new owner! Was told on arrival that Pizza was the menu of the night, but twenty minutes later a chef offered to cook us a steak👍 Very nice meal. Rooms are basic but clean, will be back!

Didn't stay at the hotel but greatly enjoyed the food and bar service. We had the fish and chips + salad. Everything was cooked perfectly and the salad on the side was better than I have had at much more expensive restaurants!
Nice staff and the lady publican was welcoming. Recommended dropping in.

I ❤ the Manang Pub! Not at all biased even if it's my local! Friendly publican, staff and locals. We love visitors, and heaps return as friends!

Very clean . Small room but beds were comfortable. Nice hot shower and owners were lovely. Will be back as it is a nice quiet place to stay on my visits.
