Peppers Mineral Springs Hotel Hepburn

The staff here were absolutely fantastic. Everyone was very welcoming and the food was delicious. The spa in my room was very nice and included complimentary bath salts which I enjoyed. This area is very nice and there are plenty of food options available in walking and driving distance as well as the restaurant and bar at the hotel. The front of house staff and check in experience was extremely nice. I will definitely stay here again!

Peppers is undoubtedly a beautiful hotel but it's the staff that truly made it shine for us. On arrival we were greeted by Cheyne who quickly became our best friend and looked after our every need. I've rarely felt so welcome and comfortable staying at a hotel for the first time. Big ups to Cheyne! The facilities were also great and we really enjoyed our drinks and dinner. We'll be back!

Just Brilliant!

I used to visit often decades ago with friends when I was at Uni — mainly in the Winter.

Would you believe that it used to cost around $20 per person per night?! Admittedly, it was a little shabby but still oh-so-chic. Close to Melbourne but yet another world.

Now, of course, the property’s style and charm are once again fully realised.

More recently, family. friends and I have stayed at the hotel’s super-upgraded facilities as well as dined in the Argus dining room.

I’m very much looking forward to spending Christmas Day this year (2023) with my family in the Argus.

In addition to the beautiful architecture, great facilities, and beautiful holiday decor, the hotel staff are brilliant and attentive and just so welcoming.

We can’t wait!!!

We had a great overall experience here, boosted by the area in general and the staff in the hotel.

We stayed in a Villa Spa room for two nights, which has an impressive living area upstairs, including full kitchen, dining, gas fire, lounge and private outdoor area.

Reception and bar/dining staff were very friendly and helpful, and we felt entirely welcome.

Getting around the property to and from our room, and many others, required quite a few steps through the very picturesque gardens. If you have mobility issues I'd definitely discuss with the hotel first to see what rooms (if any) might be suitable.

We didn't bother trying the spa here only because we have had a similar (better) experience already at another Peppers Spa, in Cradle Mountain, Tasmania.

From when we first arrived to when we left, very happy with the service with all the staff. Thank you to Cheyne for checking us in and also looking after us throughout the whole stay.

We had made plans with food and activities and was assured that they were good places to go.

- unlimited bottles of tap water from restaurant, and able to bring to your room

- decent sized rooms, area around the sink was not a lot of space for toiletries, internet was a bit slow and our movie had to be buffered numerous times throughout the night both at full capacity and also on a Sunday night when there were less people staying.

- did not realise that the reservation came with free breakfast, not usually one for breakfast but food was very good.

My hubby and I stayed here for our babymoon/ wedding anniversary. Absolutely loved it! The service was divine, friendly and attentive. The vibe/atmosphere was very rustic, relaxing and upper class, I was surprised it wasn't more busy but it was over New Years. They went above and beyond for us, gifted us choccies for the room when husband told them it was our babymoon and let me take a beautiful protea flower home to remember the hotel by. Loved all the old photography and art work/books around and it was decorated with real Christmas trees and very pretty flowers which we also loved and very close to centre of Daylesford and walking trails, amazing hepburn golf course, lakes etc.

Only a couple things I wish they had, a pool would be amazing but we booked knowing there wasn't one and it is connected to a spa with 2 medium sized hot spring pools so I'm guessing that's why there isn't one but I just think it would make it 5 stars instantly with a pool especially amongst the beautiful manicured gardens. Also wish there were more vego/dairy free options for brekky and dinner but they did their best to cater to us and we thoroughly enjoyed it anyway. Also wish there was room service so we could order to the room and a bigger cupboard, drawers for clothing as we did stay 5 days and booked the best deluxe spa villa. The spa was great though!!! 🥰

Also if you're an older couple probably best to book rooms or villas downstairs as theres 2 stairs cases to walk up to get to the rooms, I am 7 months pregnant so that was a bit of a mission 😅 but good exercise and my beautiful hubby carried my bags, bless him. Overall loved it and would come back, the staff and atmosphere definitely made it amazing. They also put free drinks and canopes on for NYE which we loved. Thank you for having us 💖🧚‍♂

I booked and stayed here for a small work conference and it was fabulous. Staff were attentive and everything went off without a hitch. The rooms were nice, some had balconies, some had indoor spa baths and others had outdoor spas. Mine had a spa bath which was large and and deep but the jets were not very strong and it was pretty noisy ... I don't think that's unusual for a spa bath though. The actual building and out door area were clean, comfortable and so peaceful. The food was exceptional and a highlight for everyone who stayed. I would definitely recommend this hotel for workshop or small conference or a weekend break for fun. I didn't want to leave!

I have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel numerous times, and each visit exceeds my expectations. The front desk staff, particularly Meg and the office manager, are truly exceptional. Their professionalism and dedication to customer service are unmatched. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel itself is a gem, nestled in a fantastic location. The ambiance is simply delightful, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation and enjoyment. And let's not forget about the day spa – it's nothing short of exceptional.

I can't thank the ladies at Reception enough for their outstanding service. This hotel is a true standout, and I look forward to returning for many more memorable stays.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay in Villa Parma at Peppers in Hepburn Springs. Delicious food, great amenities and really good value. Huge thanks in particular to Sally, Cheyne and Nicole for ensuring our stay was comfortable. We will be back!

Beautiful location and friendly staff - we came as a couple for the mineral spa package and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was a very private feel and didn’t feel too overwhelming! There was multiple sauna rooms and pools to enter and didn’t feel gross (unlike some other mineral springs)!

My wife surprised me with a three night stay at Peppers Mineral Springs for my birthday and Christmas presents combined.
It has to be one of the most divine and magical experiences I have ever had.
From the moment we arrived at the reception area it felt just beautiful not only inside but surrounding grounds as well. So lovely!
Our experience was a combination of a Private spa, Mineral Spring bath, Cocoon body wrap and a Full Body massage. I have no words to describe what we have just experienced except to say that it was divinely magical.
Staff, masseuses and everyone involved were exceptional in every aspect of our time here.
We will definitely be back and will let all our family and friends know about our time at Peppers Mineral Spa.

Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff great accommodation room is fantastic in a villa. Breakfast was nice definitely recommend and will come back.

The whole experience from beginning to end was lovely. Friendly reception staff, and all other staff in the hotel. It was out 30th wedding anniversary and they put on all the spoils from an upgraded spa room and a bottle of wine. Room was clean and spacious with an amazing spa bath on the outside deck. Hotel is well positioned and close to restaurants, spas and reserves to walk. Breakfast included with lots of options. Thanks for making our special day memorable.

Husband and I spent our 20th wedding anniversary here. Loved the warmth of this place. Breakfast was excellent. Nice and quiet and cosy hotel.

Never stayed at Peppers chain hotel before but am extremely glad that I did, very clean place and the Staff are top tier. Everything regarding Peppers extrudes excellence. I only stayed one night with my partner and had the included breakfast with the stay. The food was amazing and the breakfast was top tier. Every interaction with Staff from the very first phone call, booking to checking out, my partner and I were looked after and treated like celebrities. For example, there was an issue with my booking when I first booked due to a technical fault of my own / technological issue, I immediately received a call from Peppers confirming my stay and turns out the computer booked for the very same night instead of two weeks later, I explained the error to a staff member named Shane, Shane was all too willing to help and rectify the booking, some friendly chit chat and lots of professionalism (Massive thank you to Shane who went above and beyond to fix my booking) my booking was fixed and Shane said leave the rest to me I will get it sorted. All I can say is I am now a huge fan of the Peppers franchise and will be looking to book with them wherever and whenever I can. The point of difference here is that all staff had a standard in the service they delivered and every interaction was top tier, professional, friendly and customer focused, just the way it should be for a renowned name in the hotel industry. Thank you yet again for the amazing experience, I will certainly be back in future.

My husband and I had our wedding at Peppers Mineral Springs Hotel in November. The venue is stunning and the staff were absolutely fantastic, especially Diana our wedding coordinator. We could not have asked for better service and our stay was wonderful also. If you're considering a wedding in Hepburn, this is the place to choose!

From the moment we walked in we were met with great service special call out to Nicole and Shayne they went out of their way to make our stay extra special. We celebrated our 18 wedding anniversary and they went the extra mile to add to the special occasion by providing exceptional service. We will be back here again to stay. It was so tranquil and good old fashioned service and attentiveness. A big thank you for making us feel special.

May 2023 i went back to Peppers because of the great service we got last year glad to see Nicole and Shayne still there and as friendly and helpful as before

Really great experience - staff were really helpful and friendly. The spa facilities are really nice. Rooms are big and spacious - good value for money. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend away.
