Sinapius has a small cellar door that is run by the very kind and down to earth cellar door manager Kim, who has made us feel so welcome on both occasions we’ve visited.
While Sinapius has a smaller offering compared to some other wineries in the region, what they do, they do really well as we always end up buying a few bottles of their delicious single-estate wines.

One of our absolute favourite wineries in Tasmania; would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Amazing… Kim on the cellar door was fantastic. The wine - beautiful. Loved the Grüner Veltliner, The Clem and Close Planted Chardonnay… and they all came home w me.

This is the friendliest and most enjoyable winery. Our hostess Kym gave us information about the amazing wines and the history of the vineyard and welcomed us like old friends. The wines covered a great tasting range and I’m sure there will be something to please everyone. Such an enjoyable afternoon. Already planning our next visit

Beautiful boutique winery. The wine is biodynamic and is cellar door. Most of the wines are buttery delicious. We loved Rufus the German Shepard. They ship 6 bottles for free as well. We loved the autumnal colours of the vines.

We stopped by this cellar door without any expectations and honestly, their wines were delightful! Especially the sparkling and the Chardonnay. You also get to enjoy a beautiful view which reminded us of the South of France. We stayed for about two hours there without noticing: thanks a lot Kim for the passionate and instructive explanations!

We had a very enjoyable experience doing a tasting on one of our first days in Tasmania. Our host was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive, and was patient with us as we sampled 6 wines.

The cellar door and bar area is modern, inviting and cosy and we would recommend anyone to make a stop here. The level of care and labour to produce these wines is very apparent even for amateur enthusiasts.

My family and I stopped by to sample the wines on offer, having read the reviews on here and in local guide books. We were very pleased with our decision. Kim made all of us very welcome, including our 9 yr old daughter. All the wines tasted were excellent, and although there was no hard sell whatsoever, we purchased more than we intended!. Kim was also very helpful and knowledgeable regarding all wines tasted. Highly recommended.

Our favourite winery in Tasmania. Beautiful location, the seven wines on offer for tasting were some of the best we've ever tasted, anywhere, and the service and knowledge shared by Kim was exceptional. We can't wait for our delivery to arrive home to share the magic of Sinapius with friends and family!

Highly recommend Sinapius! The wines are amazing quality and the cellar door is beautiful and quaint! The tales of the wine community who rallied around this family in their time of need and continuing the legacy of a wonderful winemaker has made me a customer for life! Well done and best wishes!

Beautiful little cellar door, great hospitality and lovely wines. If you get a bit over Pinot and Chardonnay, these guys are well worth a visit for something different.

We rolled up by chance, looking to spend a lovely afternoon at a vineyard and enjoy a glass of wine. The Cellar Door was beautiful and presented a nice selection of wines available for purchase either by the glass or through a tasting. Bottles are also available for purchase and can be shipped anywhere in Australia (we got 3!). Kim, our host, was so amazing and attentive. She really made the experience special. We loved the rolling vineyard views and would love to visit again on our next trip to Tasmania! Thanks for the memories, Kim, you gave two Canadians a great experience!

This was the standout cellar door experience in the Tamar. Kym exhibited excellent knowledge of the area's history, the wines were delicious, and the family story was respectfully presented. This winery is in great hands with Linda and Kym.
