Beautiful location and choose your wine flights.
Very friendly service. Lots of space for kids to run around too. Alfresco or since seating, outside has heaters.

Incredible wine tasting with the affable Simon. An absolute must if you’re in the region.

Great environment too - they offer picnic rugs, have cheeses and cured meats for sale and if you’re visiting, some gift items too.

Some particular surprise packs - the sparkling cuvée (2014), sparkling vintage rosé and the rosé (2016).

Just awesome. Fantastic wines and the most personal and absorbing cellar door experience we had in the whole of Tasmania. I strongly recommend you visit Delamere. Thanks for the great conversation.

We stopped in here on a rainy day before Christmas and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our holiday. The host was friendly and knowledgeable- telling us all about the differences with sparkling wine production. We really likes the wines and took a few bottles to enjoy on the rest of our trip.

We were lucky to stop in here as our last stop of the day and can I say… it was WELL WORTH IT!! Nat was absolutely amazing in accommodating us, selecting wines based on our preference and allowing us to sample a few special wines in the mix which were a delight and of course had to get a bottle or two! Thanks for making my birthday weekend one to remember Nat!!! Oh and if you didn’t know… it’s one of the only places you can select your own cheese from the fridge, grab some crackers and have a nibble as you taste their wines! Best idea ever!!!! Make sure you put this place on your list!

Stopped in here on a rainy day for a tasting and it was perfect. Cozy atmosphere with really delicious wine and friendly and knowledgeable service. Bought a couple bottles to take home as well.

Best wine tasting experience ever (& I've done hundreds)! Super cute rustic building opening out to a gorgeous lawn and garden area (families picnicking on the lawn). Stunning chardonnay. Terrific pinots and quality sparkling. And we had our own personal wine expert sat down with us at the table and guided us through each tasting sample explaining the history of the wine and the wine making theories involved. Great people, great wine, great location. Cant recommend it highly enough

Stumbled across this little gem on a New Year day!
We were driving around the area between different attractions, didn't plan for lunch and many places weren't open for lunch due to New Year day.
Glad that they open!
The wine was yummy. The area is beautiful, pretty colours of the trees & stunning rolling landscapes.
The wine was good but for me being a driver, I really appreciate their simple catering / food service. Grab a board, take what you like from the fridge & pantry, order some tasting flights to go with the platter of our choice. Keep the wrappings just in case we like to take some home and charge the whole lot when we leave the venue.
It's covid safe, simple, minimum efforts in food prep AND the food is yummy. I took the cheese home and look forward to getting some more from a specialty cheese store in Melbourne CBD.

My partner an I managed to sneak in just before closing time on a Sunday and Simon greeted us with exceptional service. The wines were/are some of the best we had in Tasmania, and potentially some of the best I've ever had. Simon was also very generous and courteous and gave us so many recommendation for great hikes and camping.

Will 100% be back next time we're in Tassie and have/will recommend to all to visit.

Had a really good tasting and enjoyed many of their good Wines, Alice was very knowledgeable and an absolute delight as a host - explaining each of the wines well. Alice was outstanding not just for her knowledge of wines but also readiness to help with other interesting things about Tasmania. Always great to have an enthusiastic local helping you... we'll done !

The most engaging experience we have ever had at an winery ever. The very experienced and friendly staff answered all of our questions and more. The wine 🍷 was great & the winery beautiful. A great day out for a picnic in the grounds & we came away with a new appreciation for wineries and the industry. Thanks Delamere we will sing your praises.

Simon welcomed me to Delamere last weekend. It was a great experience. I have been to many vineyards in my life and this experience was great. The location is perfect. We had a great conversation about each wine I tasted, and I have learnt a few things about your cork I was unaware. The fact that you guys use the traditional method for your sparkling is a plus. The 2016 vintage cuvee was a jem. And I really think the pinot noir 2012 is one of the best I have tasted. Having booked a 1 to 1 tasting was the best choice.

Sam was fabulous! He was great for an explanation and a chat! Walked out very happily with a bottle. Supporting local businesses with their cheese and quince paste. Fantastic pairing with the wine! Liked it enough to walk out with 3 quince pastes! Will definitely come back when I’m back in tassie!

Fantastic experience, felt so welcome there. Learned so much about wine making, and we could have stayed all day chatting about wine and everything else! There's not many places that leave me feeling compelled to write a glowing review but this was definitely one of them.
Thanks so much!

What a delightful experience! Kate hosted us this arvo and we had what was definitely the best wine the Tamar has to offer. The service, the cheese platter, the goodies for sale (don't miss out on the truffle chips) we're magic. The block 8 Pinot and the blanc de blanc are very highly recommended!!

Great wine tasting spot! Simon was really knowledge and fun to chat with. Delamere's got a bunch of varieties of sparkling plus a fume blanc, chardonnay and a couple of pinot noir. There are some that are more easy drinking "summery" styles, and others that are more complex, earthy, and savory. We enjoyed all of it. Highly recommend!
