Under new management. Thank God. Had a fantastic chat with new shop owners. Very nice and friendly people. Much much better than previous owner who doesn't speak English at all, and old owner's employee (Peter, a heavy smoker and terrible alcoholic ), who was even drinking alcohol when he was on duty to serve customers. Peter is the worst staff I have never seen. Tried several times to complain him to previous shop owner a year ago, but old owner doesn't understand English. Good to hear from new shop owners that they don't employ him.

Peter the Owner is just brilliant, he really knows his wine and stocks some really good stuff and a very good price. He knows what his customers like. I haven't had a bad bottle of wine yet! So if you want quality wine at affordable prices with excellent service pop in and see Peter.

Lovely family running this business. English is their second language but any questions can be answered via their translator app. I buy 6 bottles of wine at once in order to get their 12% discount.

I love this shop! The owner is very lovely and knowledgeable. He is always up for a chat. Reasonably priced, convenient location with car park next door and good opening hours.

Peter is great! very friendly service and loves to talk about wine and spirits, with plenty of helpful information on new styles to try.

The staff spoke no English at all

Under new management and wow what a terrible experience. I walked in asking for a Mornington Peninsula that i have purchased frequently and the staff member (found out later the new owner) had no idea what i was talking about. Actually he understood little English. This was challenging but still pushed ahead to get good premium Chardy and engaged this time speaking slower to describe what i wanted. The new owner then took me to the red wine section and pointed out red wines....and i said i asked for a Chardonnay not a red wine? I then asked where Peter was (the old owner) and found out that he sold out. The new owner then told me in very basic English " I don't drink wine". This was a terrible customer experience. I had to ask myself ...Why buy a wine shop when you have no idea about wine and speak very little English? This is the best bit (well actually the worst bit) ....He became very aggressive to me when i asked why did you buy this store when you know nothing about the stock? (i asked this in a very nice manner). After he stopped his rant ......needless to say i walked out. I had spend about $100 per week here in the last 3 months since moving into the area and now i have moved on. I do not review much....but felt compelled to review this store. :)

I have lived in the area for a while and have been meaning to stop by. Today I did, and it was disappointing to say the least. I purchased a bottle of Prosecco I am quite familiar with and it is definitely an old bottle. I sadly had to tip it down the sink, it tasted awful. Not sure if It was old or just stored incorrectly but it tasted like mould.

Your delivery truck regularly blocks Belmore road and causes massive traffic pile ups
