St Jude's Cellar Door and Bistro

Food and Service is incredible! My family had a wonderful experience dining here. It is also a dog friendly alfresco dining. Highly recommend and will definitely come back.

The food was delicious!
We had the 16h slow cooked beek cheecks, it was to die for! And the sauce was amazing.
The lemon pie with meringue is delicious. The meringue is very light, airy and not too sweet, the perfect balance with the citrus.

This is a great, next to the road, cafe and winery. Delicious food, generous portions, great coffee and fantastic service makes this a must stop for lunch. Prices are a bit dearer than other cafes, but is worth the extra few dollars.

This is a great dining experience in Ballandean. Particularly good are the calamari entree and the prawn pasta main. The local wine is also top notch.

This is the second time we have been there. We took friends from Tasmania and they enjoyed the setting. Wine selection is local produce and enjoyable.
A great place to have a bite to eat and sample the wines.

Amazing late lunch. Best food in the Stanthorpe region and lovely accomodating staff. The barramundi, chicken, duck, pasta and pizza were amazing and well worth the money. Don’t miss this place on your way through the granite belt area.

Really need to consider opening earlier - imited opening time. Would have loved to stop in on the way to/from 4wding at various nearby national parks but due to weather/plan changes we've missed out, and staff seem disgruntled at cancellation. More flexibility and our group of 4+ would have ordered up, sure there's others.

Superb modern but unpretentious bistro and cellar door/tasting room for Sirromet Wines. Really friendly staff and offer great choice of food from dreakfast to dinner, and can try out some Sirromet Granite Belt wines. Right along the New England Highway so very convenient if you want to drop in for a coffee or something more substantial. Great breakfast/brunch and pizzas with quick service if you're in a rush.

All time favorite place. Believe me it’s an absolute must! The atmosphere and scenery is gorgeous and customer service is spot on. We ordered a veggie wrap and coffee - came with a deal. Both were very generously sized (huge!). The wrap was not only marinated but also came with beautiful bursts of pesto. There is no skimp on quality here 🙏🏻
We also had a slice of the pecan cake and their homemade jam. It was so difficult not to go back for seconds. Definitely recommend this place.

I had a mid week set menu special - an entree and a main for $22 plus they paired wine for an additional $8. The food (eggplant parmigiana and grilled fish) was fabulous. Staff friendly and location fantastic.

The food quality here is extraordinary! Barramundi dish is highly recommended. We also tried veg stack and pizza , all full of flavour and delicious. I will certainly come back here whenever I visit Stanthorpe.

We've been here many times before but never for breakfast. Wow, what a treat! The big breakfast was so yummy I mopped up every last bit. The breakfast toastie is a treat to behold and the pancakes were perfect.

Super friendly service so early on a Sunday morning as well. We'll definitely be back.

It’s unusual to find such a good place for breakfast where the speed limit is 80Ks past the front door. The place is comfortable, clean, interesting and the food, coffee and Customer Service is first rate. Breakfast was as good as you could wish for and very reasonable prices.

Amazing service and food, it's a hidden gem and I will definitely come back when I'm in the area again!

Fantastic meals and an excellent selection of wines to compliment your meal

We had a delicious lunch at St Jude’s and highly recommend it. The restaurant is unassuming from the outside and a bit light on decor wise however the food and service was outstanding. All of our meals were excellent and the wine selection was great especially the Prosecco!

Lunch was really enjoyable here we had some nice pizza, garlic bread, and coffee. The staff were very polite and helpful. Will come back.

The food and service is off the scale amazing! The beef cheek is so soft it melts on the plate. Personal and friendly staff. Must experience if visiting the Granite Belt!
