Chocolate and dark beer mix them and you get the most delicious, dangerous, addictive ancient black beer, the black inca.
Willie warmer warms your..... soul 🤣, infused with star anise and cassia bar, brewed with chocolate malt.
Read more on their website, if you like your dark beer, you will LOVE these beers.

The beautiful outside deck, with a little garden of 3 different kind of hops growing , hazel, walnut tree roses and beautiful pears did. really take me back home to my childhood . Definitely coming back again :)

Australia Post took a while to deliver the case to Sydney but very happy with the product once it arrived. The beer tastes wonderful - I always prioritise looking out for Seven Sheds while in Tasmania on holidays. So glad they now deliver. Got to speak to the brewer (Willie) on the phone - gave me good advice. Great value for money. Fast reply to emails from Catherine. One of Australia’s best beers. I highly commend supporting great local producers - you won’t be disappointed.

Visit the home base of the legendary Aussie beer journalist Willie Simpson and partner Catherine.
Very pleasant craft beer bar and garden in a craft beer desert. Home grown hops and a great selection of quality beer, mead and ginger beer.

Had an absolutely wonderful tour and tasting at Seven Sheds today. The setting is incredible, the beers are delicious and it was fascinating learning about the process, from growing the hops, to smoking, to bottling and everything in between. Thanks Willie. It was a real highlight of our time in Tassie.

Nice and relax atmosphere. Great 5 choices of beer sample. Just have it a try and select your favourite one. However, No food available at this place. Recommended for beer lover.

Not so much a review of the brewery, more the beer. I bought 2 brews from Launceston market, a Black Inca and a Shed 8 Mead. I've never had mead before, but just WOW. So good ! The brewer told me that he's a bit of a purist as far as the mead goes. It was so good. The other brew was a Black Inca. Probably the best dark beer I have ever tasted, seriously .

Catherine and Will were great hosts, provided a fantastic little tour and tasting. Beers were outstanding craft brews and the take away pack provide a great way to relive the experience at a later date. Thanks so much.

One of Australia's best breweries in my opinion. We very much enjoyed the live authentic folk music from a local act here on Christmas Eve 2018. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
Highly recommend.

Lots of craft breweries have cropped up in Tassie over the last decade but few rival Seven Sheds. I always make a point of dropping in whenever I visit the NW. I really like the new(?) Elf that I purchased last week from the Harvest market. If only there were more stockists in Hobart!

Veeery good brewery tucked away 15ish minutes from Devonport. Absolutely worth checking out. Found some spectacular beers on the tasting paddle and took a chance on some new ones that sound spectacular. The oak-smoked session ale is unique and delicious. Note that the tasting paddle is very generously portioned and as such is a fair bit of beer and sits at approx. 2.8 std drinks so plan ahead with a driver or share with someone. Unique, cute, friendly service, love it.

Pretty sure it was on someone's home, which gave it so much character. They have a garden in the back & a nice outdoor seating are that's perfect on a sunny day. The staff was friendly , & the beers were unique& delicious. Also high in strength, so after a tasting paddle, take your time, walk around the town & enjoy the topiary.

Do not, I repeat DO NOT miss this place. Drive down the sneaky driveway into heaven, nirvana, Mecca, whatever you're best place is. This is it. Best mead I've ever tasted. If the Vikings new about this place tassie be invaded within hours. The black Inca beer was beautiful. I know I'm raving, but these beers are sooooo tasty, DO NOT miss this place...

P.S. This review was done a day after, so I'm not under the influence, mbe more of a spell...

Just read Dave's review. I think he mistook rudeness for pride. The guy we spoke to was proud of his product, a bit quiet to start, but once I quizzed him on the in depth side of how it all worked, he warmed right up and we left the place very happy with the service. And nothing was watered down in my opinion.
