Cradle Country Adventures

Had an absolutely wonderful experience with cradle country adventures. Did the 3 hr ride on Bakers Beach and it was stunningly beautiful. The horse I had, Dewey, was gentle and well trained. The horses are all healthy and lovely. Our guide was excellent and made the experience so fun. I definitely recommend the experience and will do it again if I come back to tasmania

The most amazing adventure with my 2 girls. Stunning varied scenery, outstanding horses and guides. Really cater to all levels. We did a 5 day ride and we loved every second. Hats off to Ray and Laura owners and our wonderful guides Stacey, Barbara and Kirsty.

Had a totally magical time! Spending five days on their ‘Cradle to Country’ ride (through Globetrotting) was a total joy. From riding mountains, to farmland, to beach - each day was spectacular. I’m still saving up to buy the beautiful horse I rode too, Rollo - he was an absolute dream. And our guides, particularly Laura, Barbara and Stacey were standouts! We were kept safe, we were spoilt, and we had a fabulous time together. I’ll definitely be back!

I recently did the Cradle to Coast ride through Globetrotters and Cradle Country Adventures ❤ I cannot speak highly enough of the entire experience! Laura, Ray, Barb, Rose, Stacey, Sophia and Maria (and Ned, Liam, Lola and Sizzle) made our journey one I will cherish for the rest of my life. The beautiful countryside and warm hospitality in both homesteads also added that country charm. I was surprised by all the little extras that were thrown in to the tour aswell, keeping our days full and diverse without wearing us out. I am still smiling from ear to ear and my passion for riding has be reignited in full force ❤❤ thank you so much x

It is impossible for me to describe how much fun we had. I highly recommend them to everyone.
Extremely well organised, caring, fun people and terrific horses to cater for all abilities of riding.

One of the best trail riding companies I have used! The owners and staff are professional, friendly and take good care of their horses who are super safe and well trained. They provide horses for all rider levels - as an experienced rider I had a blast on the beach rides. Me and my friends did the 3 day riding package. Accommodation is basic but comfortable and meals were delicious and well catered for our dietary requirements (vegetarian/dairy free). I wouldn’t go again on the Cradle mountain ride as it’s hard terrain and just walking but it was worth it to experience it once. I will hopefully be back to do the beach ride again as it was epic ❤

I had the most amazing experience with Cradle Country Adventures! I recently booked for a trail ride, which I loved. My instructor Laura was an extremely knowledgeable and experienced equestrian who made me feel comfortable and safe, which was super important to me having 0 horse riding experience. My horse Leo was so incredibly gentle and easy to ride, making for such a lovely experience. The horses look very well cared for and the farm looks very well kept. The staff were incredibly lovely and the views of the trail ride were so picturesque! Would happily use Cradle Country Adventures again for my next trail ride.

Our guide Stacy was very really friendly and kind. It was my friend’s first time on a horse and she was kind of nervous. Stacy was reassuring and made it an enjoyable ride. We rode on Captain (haha who’s a cute and naughty boy) and Chocky (who’s cooperative). We saw so many kangaroos and wallabies! Also, Bakers Beach was simply stunning.

We did the Bakers Beach and Bush full day ride. Couldn’t rate it higher. We had beach all to ourselves with lovely walks, trots and canters throughout the day. Lovely lunch by the fire. Laura is an excellent and interactive guide. Also good at providing for gluten free (I’m a coeliac)! Will be back!

Throw back to 13 Jun - Husband and kids (9/10yo) went for horse riding with Cradle Country Adventures. Equipped with a safety briefing and helmet, they set off with their assigned horses. It’s a group experience trekking through an eucalyptus forest, pine plantation and beyond. All 3 amateurs did well through the extreme wet & sunny weather. Horses were very well behaved too. So proud of them! Laura and Gabi were very kind and accommodative. So glad that this pair of professionals kept them safe, sound and happy! 😊😊

FYI: Rider no more than 100kg.

Just completed a 4-day trip with Cradle Country Adventures and had the best time!! The hospitality shown from Laura, Ray, Laura's mum and the kids was above and beyond, the food provided was scrumptious and the amenities provided were everything you could've needed after multiple days of riding.

The horses were all amazing, the rides we did each day had wonderfully different landscapes, a BIG shout out to our guides (Rose, Stormy, Kirsty) who made the experience safe and enjoyable the entire time. It's clear that everyone at Cradle Country Adventures are incredibly passionate about horses and providing guests with a great experience.

Laura and Ray (the owners) are so wonderful. Our son had a fever prior to the flight to Tasmania, thus, we had to postpone our trip. They just let us rebook the horse riding, little did we know that they were closed during our rescheduled flight in Aug. They specially arranged a date for us to have our horse riding according to our convenience. We really appreciate their kindness and assistance. They were really quick to respond and extremely kind. For the horse riding, it's just PERFECT. Stacey, our guide, was very patient and kind throughout the ride. Our 13 yr old son was a bit clueless with his horse but Stacey was very lovely towards him. Our horses; Captain, Chalky and Leo were amazing, esp. Chalky! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place, the views are great but the people make it so much nicer. TIPS: Even with 10AM ride, we managed to find quite a number of Padymelons and wallabies, the stop point with Mt.Roland at the back is gorgeous, many up and down terrain definitely added the fun to the ride.

Great experience for the unexperienced riders. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on our 2 hour ride and our guides were so lovely. Will go again.

Great experiences available at Cradle Country Adventures : horse riding & rifting. There are packages for all ages and levels. Friendly staff sharing very informative facts on local fauna e.g. Platypus. Warmly recommended

What an awesome adventure I had horseback riding with Cradle Country Adventures for my birthday week while in Tasmania. I rode at each of their locations: Kimberly, Launceston, Cradle Mountain and Narawntapu National Park. We stayed at the "Homestead" in the park. SPECTACULAR! A MUST DO!
Whether you are a new rider or a well seasoned rider they have the perfect horse for your needs. I highly recommend. Go and get outside and enjoy how beautiful Tasmania is.

Had such a wonderful weekend at the horse ride and sound bath retreat at Cradle Country Adventures, I can't wait for the next one! All of the staff were amazing, beautiful horses who took great care of us and basic but comfortable accommodation I'm the Shearers Quarters.

Well, I can’t thank you enough, this was my second visit to Cradle Mountain Adventures, and it was fantastic. Better than the first visit! It is great to have a holiday workout so well when including 3 other friends. Everyone was blown away with the 4-day multi ride. We all loved Barb and Stacy, our horses, food, and accommodation. You even organized some rain for us which made the 4 days more eventful and fun. You are both fantastic hosts and your staff are energetic and unbelievable kind and caring. Ray and Laura are amazing hosts. The horses were fantastic, riding instructors and staff are welcoming and the property is beautiful. We stayed overnight at the property and you cannot beat the experience of waking up, surrounded by beautiful friendly horses. Definitely amongst one of our favourite trail rides and we will be coming back for more.
