So thankful for this campground! By the very beautiful riverside (with boat ramp) but it was really peaceful and quiet. The flushing toilets were surprisingly well maintained. No drinking water available.
We camped at one of the higher campgrounds which are a bit up from the river/toilets but it was nice flat ground, open space and we had no neighbours most of the time.
There is a campsite on the other side of the river as well with same facilities but much less camping space, bordering someone's fence and is very uneven ground so wouldn't recommend as much although probably good and quiet if you're in a camper!
Designated campfire spots.

This one was the best free camping that I have been in Tassie!! There is a big lake surrounded by forest where people go with their boats!! It has clean toilets and a bbq!!
It is roomy and has differents levels to park!!
Honestly, the lake was the best. It is just nature!!! Take care because of the animals at night!

Free Camping, plenty of site, but may have to be further up the hill during busy periods, away from the water, boat ramps (2) both with pontoons, toilets and BBQ. Lake in this area is a designated ski zone.

We loved our time here, but were the only campers @ the time. Few people launching boats.

Excellent! It's kept clean. They have someone come and collect rubbish and clean the toilets daily. The lake is just amazingly beautiful and the camping is the greatest with all the wildlife. Definitely worth the drive there 😍
