Wilmot Country Store

We needed to fill up from Moira and drove here. What a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and we received great service. I walked across the road to take a photo of the nice Muriel and old rusty tin shed. I am glad this nice place is on Google Maps.

Missed a turnoff on the way back from cradle mt and ended up in Wilmot. Got some spring rolls and coffee,the coffee was great, the spring rolls was the best I have eaten.Told the lovely ladies there and they said the secret was fresh oil, this should happen in more places. Well done Wilmot.They have a variety of old posters and old artifacts to peruse while you wait, well worth getting lost to find this gem of a place. There is an amazing lookout as you leave the village, breath taking views. GO THERE

Great little place to fill up your car with petrol, and stock up on items. The cooked food is good as well. It also has a post office. The ladies give a really good service and are very friendly. You might not see another store or a petrol garage for another 50 miles!

Great location and store. They have it all in this little general store. We broke down out side and the owner was so kind and helped us out. We would have been stranded without them. The food smelt amazing and was a one stop shop.

Nice food nice people, post office, fuel, small line groceries, nice hot take away food, or sit down, and they also have a bottle shop and gas bottle swap plus more, great place to stop fuel Coffee nice hot food and information.
