A marvellous rainforest and must see if visiting Cairns. We went on a tour that included a river cruise, walking tour and lunch. We even got to swim in a small lagoon.

Did this all on a tour, amazed at all the varieties of birds, insects, and even saw some crocodiles. We did a river cruise, and walking treks. Worth visiting

It was great. The rainforest is butiful especially when wet. Our tour guide told us about 10 times he loved the rainforest when wet and I fully agree that it's much nicer thar way than when the sun comes out. This specifically is where the rainforest is quite close to the ocean.

This national is truly beautiful and filled with amazing history and many plants that only appear right there in the rainforest!

Is recommend getting a guided tour as there are plenty of things that could easily be missed if you didn't have the trained eye!

Absolutely awesome!!! Definately come and see our wonderful country. Our amazing Daintree forest is spectacular and the lookout points to fast rushing river ways is breathtakingly beautiful whilst calming at the same time.

There is a reason this place is world heritage listed. It is amazing, the greenery, the huge trees, you get a real appreciation for what the world was like before people came and clear felled for farming. Great visitors centres and clearly marked trails.

"Daintree National Park is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Australia's tropical north. As an avid nature enthusiast, I cannot recommend it highly enough. The sheer diversity of flora and fauna is breathtaking, from ancient rainforests to crystal-clear streams teeming with life. Exploring its winding trails feels like stepping back in time, surrounded by towering trees and exotic bird calls echoing through the canopy. One of the highlights for me was encountering unique wildlife, including elusive cassowaries and vibrant butterflies flitting among the foliage. The park offers a range of activities catering to all interests, whether you're a hiker seeking adventure or a leisurely observer soaking in the natural beauty. The commitment to conservation and sustainable tourism is evident throughout the park, with informative signage and knowledgeable guides eager to share their passion for preserving this ecological wonderland. Additionally, the park management's efforts to engage with local indigenous communities add a rich cultural dimension to the experience. In conclusion, Daintree National Park is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an immersive encounter with nature's wonders. Prepare to be captivated by its charm and leave with a deeper appreciation for our planet's remarkable biodiversity."

Definitely a must-try if you got time. Feel like im back to Jurassic park. Great atmosphere with lots of unique trees. Would be lucky to spot cassowaries too - the ancient bird. They have been around for more than 100 mil years!

Hey nice to relax, pretty cool place and you can also swim when it's work weather. I went at the end of July, it was a bit too cold to swim but others did.:) very fresh air and peaceful.

The oldest rainforest is worth the visit. Cape Tribulation within the park is a true treasure. The cold water holes are safe to swim from crocs and the board walks tell a story of the forest

Was such a clear day, we were so lucky that we could see all the surrounding mountains. Saw a big lizard but not sure what it's called. Spotted a cassowary in the bus but couldn't get great photo because of the forest.

Founded in 1981, the national park has been a World Heritage Site since 1988, valued because of its exceptional biodiversity. Home to a 110-million-year-old rainforest, it's one of the oldest ecosystems in the world and has remained mostly untouched. The park is also home to thousands of plant species, 430 bird species and trees that are more than 2,500 years old and were previously thought to be extinct.

A beautiful heritage listed site in far north QLD. This tropical rainforest is full of hidden gems from ice cream to food, tourism, crocodile tours, and many board walks - short and long to ensure its friendly for all. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and the kids loved crossing the river in the car.
