Carinya Farm Holiday Retreat

My wife and I loved this place. We stayed here 2 nights. We were greated by farm fresh eggs, bread and jams. Super cosy, loved the animals and amazing views across to Mt Rowland. Very central spot for exploring too.

Wow what a lovely place to stay,and with all the farm animals as well. Thanks to Angela for the complimentary basket, the rooms were cosy and the kitchen had everything that you need I would highly recommend this place to stay

Lovely chalet in a rural farm setting. Chris and Gary are fantastic hosts. The chalet was very clean and toasty warm, even in a winter storm! Carinya Farm is a convenient location to base your holiday. It's just a short drive to the northwest coast or Cradle Mountain. The views from the chalet are breathtaking. You won't be disappointed staying here. Our family loved our winter holiday here.

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night and had a wonderful time. The room was very well equipped, cosy and the bedroom upstairs had an incredible view to the mountains and in addition a little terrace. Homemade bread, butter, marmalade and fresh grounded coffee in the room when we arrived. The owner was very friendly, retired ranger, and took time to tell us about the area and the nature. 100% recommendable.

We stayed for one night and it was an amazing experience. The view to the Roland MT is stunning. We were lucky to have very clear sky while we were there and we could see the sun rise, sun set and amazing for stargazing.
Also, after a week travelling, that was the best place we stayed due to the fact the host really want you to experience the farm life.

I loved staying here. The farm itself is wonderful, with spectacular views of Mt Roland. Walking around the paddocks is great fun. Wonderful, accommodating hosts as well. The bread and eggs were fantastic. It was a shame we didn't stay longer.

Highly recommended. We went in winter 2016 and stayed for 2 nights. As soon as we arrived Chris gave us a fresh baked bread, it was warm and tasty the best bread I've eaten for a long while. The room is perfect for a couple or a small family. Very nice view from the bedroom we absolutely loved it. You can walk around in the farm to meet their animals. Sootie the cat loves hanging around us and some chooks came over to our room for a visit too. Sheffield town is only 10 mins away where we did some shopping and went out for dinner. We also spend some good time at a horse riding place and the maze which both located on the same road.

We stayed here for our visit to Cradle Mountain. It was about 45 mins away, so very convenient. The farm chalet was really comfy and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Chris brought us freshly baked bread and fresh eggs, which we loved. We also saw platypus (platypi?) playing in the dam.

Stayed the night in the Roland chalet. I was blown away by the views, the animals and the friendly owners. This is a must do for any one, expecially young families. plenty of opportunities to see, pat and feed friendly animals and admire the fantastic view.

Such a lovely little place - no sight of the owners but felt really welcome.
The animals were beautiful, the pigs so excited to see you on the other side of the gate.

Chris & Garry go out of their way to provide a very personal touch to your stay, in the form of farm-fresh produce, home spun cottage crafts and easy conversation. Combine all this with beautiful garden surrounds and a toasting fire, & you have a perfect base to explore the district from. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time here! Carinya and her family were super hospitable and we felt right at home on this 50acres farm with the cute animals and lovely night sky :)

Such a lovely cozy and clean home with nice view of the mountains and animals. The second level bedroom is wonderful.

This location was absolutely amazing. The owners were respectful of our space, but happy to assist us with anything we needed. Would stay here again any time. Ps we saw the platypus
