Villarett Gardens

Went there in Autumn. Beautiful gardens and great food.
Gardens are dog friendly, and so is the outdoor dining area.
I thought the indoor dining area was fine, just quite busy and loud at the time of our visit. I thought the outside seating was much nicer, more peaceful, more immersed in the garden, had options of tables in the sun and tables in the shade under a beautiful big tree.
The gardens are massive so plan to be there for at least half the day if you want to explore everything, stop to take lots of photos etc and sit down for some delicious food.

Love this place. Charming service in a former art gallery with gorgeous food. All surrounded by peaceful mature gardens. I just wish they opened on more days:-)

What a location! Stunning landscape, stunning view and amazing garden all around.

Really enjoyed the food, fair price for the location and gardens. We sat outside and enjoyed the garden and the views. Would recommend weather permitting.

We went to see the gardens in the Autumn colours and were not disappointed. The gardens are beautiful. If you are dining at the restaurant, which we were, the gardens were free (unlike some others). We didn't have high expectations for lunch (based on previous experiences at other private gardens) but it turned out we were really wrong! The food was amazing. This really is a restaurant serving restaurant food. Quality food. Everything was fantastic - mains and desserts. We will definitely return.

This place is freaking amazing.

Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday and worth it.

We had the beer battered snapper and chips. The batter was perfect, fish fresh and the salad with 3 cheeses an amazing touch.

Very nice service and food came out quickly. Heaps of parking and the gardens are really nice.

Beautiful, enchanting, quiet place. I love the the food. It tastes so good, the flavour is fantastic, good portion, staff is friendly. Definitely would go back again. Walking around the garden after having our meal was incredible, perfect for photos.

Hi I'm Phil from Melbourne but originally from the great Island of Tassy.
I have visited Villaret Gardens a few times as my family lives in Launceston.
It truly is an amazing place where a lot love and hard work has been put in to make it what it is today a great couple run it and service it with the fine food it is noted for. A must place to visit and see.

Birthday lunch for me on the 23rd April. Beautiful setting and the food was amazing I had a tasting platter and John had a chicken and leek pie all beautifully presented and the most delicious desert afterwards. Thank you so much and a lovely wander around the gardens finished a lovely day.
