Aventine Wines

We had a very fine time. The owner, Deb, was welcoming and, as it was close to the end of the day, she was more than happy to take her time with us and pour herself a nice glass.

I strongly recommend the reserve Chardonnay. I was there to celebrate my 40th, which meant my wife had the kids outside while I tasted. Of course, she had a glass or two as well, and was able to drink on the grassy area.

The sparkling Shiraz was also very good. A very small bird kept us company flitting about amongst the furniture and bottles. A fine time.

Deb & Rob make amazingly delicious wines. They stand out from the crowd. My friends & I experienced a wonderful tasting, Deb was an amazing host. The crème indulgence, dry white & sparkling wines were delightful. I’ve bought for myself & for gifts. We’ll be back for more. Thanks Deb!

Laid back, yet just enough information, setting is great. We tried the wines and the olive oil. Recommend you try.

Wonderful experience, excellent wines. Dropped in on the off chance of a tasting and couldn't be made to feel more welcome. Loved the wines on offer and walked away with a dozen. Thankyou very much, we'll be back.

Love the laidback ambiance of the tasting shed. Hosts are very friendly and the wines excellent. My favourite, the Classic Red. Actually having a nip of the Cream Indulgence on ice right now.

Wow what an amazing experience, this winery is a true gem. The Wine is amazing and the people are genuine and friendly. We'll be back.

Recommended for stocking your cellar. The classic white could be put in a smaller bottle and sold as a desert wine for twice as much.

Whenever I visit Aventine I always leave with a box of wine... Which is a good sign. Good reds and a great cream indulgence

The lady was absolutely lovely and the wines were nice but the male owner was so rude and arrogant, making snarky comments and pressuring sales. It ruined the experience, I will not be returning

Horrible experience don't bother. you are not allowed to have an opinion. We were told to only taste the wines that we are going to buy. How would you know which wine you going to like if you're not tasting it. He should rather charge a fee for tasting. He obviously hates what he does for a living. We will never go back. We went to several other wineries today and we were made very welcome by wine makers that love what they do and spent lots of money.

Really rude owner. Openly told our group he "knew" who would buy and who wouldn't as they walked in. Continued in this fashion for our entire encounter. They openly admitted they remembered the faces of those who "don't" buy and shame them into buying if they return. Arrogant and average wines. Don't bother.

Walked out of this Vinyard.. Horrendous arrogance and assumption of who would buy.. Would not spend a cent here.. Bullying tactics.. Bagging other vinyards.. Never to return or recommend.
