Absolutely outstanding hosts . Simon and Errol make this place a very memorable experience. The food in the restaurant was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing! We had a personalised wine tour by Simon which was also 5 star standard. We definitely want to come back again and highly recommend!

Stayed as part of a group of 14 for 3 nights. Simon, and his uncle, Errol, are fantastic hosts - nothing too much trouble, knowledgeable about the area, friendly, open and hospitable.
We had an amazing seafood dinner one night - absolutely superb, and one to repeat, next time we're up there.
The site is gorgeous, and after the year they've had, it does them credit. A few minor details here and there need attention, but they're working on it. Can't wait to go back.

I would HIGHLY recommend a stay at Vineyard Cottages. They provide not only great accommodation, but a memorable experience. The cottages are lovely and surrounded by a beautiful garden. The owner Erol provided us with great tips about local wineries to visit. He even dropped us off to a local restaurant for dinner and picked us up, so we were able to enjoy our dinner and some local wine, without worrying about having to drive. After dinner, we sat by the fire in the Vineyard restaurant, and interacted with some of the other guests, Erol and Simon. We were also treated to a delicious breakfast. Overall the hospitality was fantastic and we would definitely visit again.

Had a lovely weekend away for a friends birthday at Vineyard Cottages. Could not recommend highly enough! Cottages are comfortable and well maintained, beautiful gardens, and the service is second to none! Simon and the team make you feel like old friends. Definitely worth a visit!

We had two families booked
two Queen cotages, both cottages were very clean and had great privacy surrounded by beautiful gardens. The bar and the fireplace were also my favourite area. Simon and Errol were like old friends that we haven't see for a long time, we enjoyed they companies so much, thank you!

This location is a great place for a meal. The chef knows how to cook seafood and it's worth coming to this place just for the sticky date pudding.

It also has a great range of local wines. We went with the bent road sangiovese, which was stunning.

The staff are also excellent and welcoming.

A superb addition to the quality dining scene in the Ballandean/Granite Belt region. Newly branded as the 'Vineyard on Ballandean' the team are doing a brilliant job and the hospitality is spot on. The menu is perfectly succinct without trying too hard and the kitchen is producing great quality in well executed dishes. Our compliments to the chef and kitchen team. The wine list is equally balanced with excellent local choices and a smattering of imported interests, but why would you when the local offerings are so good. The added bonus of a shuttle from/to Stanthorpe is the cherry on the top. Top notch service and good food to boot. You can't go wrong opting to dine at Vineyard on Ballandean. We'll be back to check out the accommodation.

Hosts were very welcoming and informative about the local area. Nice breakfast basket on arrival. Great common lounge area with fireplace to enjoy a glass of local wine. Great vicinity to local wineries. Very comfortable stay. Thank you!

Well maintained place you wouldn't know it existed until you drove in! The Gardens are well kept/manicured and the owners at the time of our stay were very welcoming. The cabin's are great, our one had it's own courtyard with a table and chairs under an apple tree - it was really relaxing. Hopefully the new owners can continue the trend :)

Cottages were so so cosy and snug.. bed was extra comfortable..hospitality of Simon and Errol was warm, generous and extremely helpful. We loved our three night stay there and will definitely go back.. we found the position conveniently placed close to Girraween National Park, wineries and Tenterfield for the history.

Great location right in the middle of wine country, spectacular sunsets, the management is most obliging. The improvements in the restaurant and grounds are likely to elevate this wonderful site to 5 star status.

Private cottages set in a well maintained garden. Very comfortable with a restaurant on site. Owner/Managers very friendly and helpful. Great location for a visit to the granite belt and wineries.

Lovely staff and beautiful grounds. Cosy! Great advice from the team about where we should visit while here. A family feel. Complimentary breakfast was phenomenal

The cottages themselves are very cosy and private.
There is a guest lounge to relax and enjoy a drink. The food is also amazing. Would 100% recommend a stay here. I cant wait to visit again.

Lovely reburbished Queen cottage. Cosy and warm. Full amenities. John is a Gracious and unobtrusive host. Very accomodating. Will stay here we come to Stanthorpe again and again.

A cosy place to have a mini mid week holiday. Central to winerys and other local produce and if you felt like venturing further south and exploring. The service and food in the cafe is fabulous. Nothing too much bother.
