This place was awesome. We had been told that this was the best place for snorkeling. The current washes past the North West tip of Hook Island so there is a mixture of deeper sea marine life along with the normal reef life.

Absolutely amazing, favourite spot around the islands. Do be careful tho if feeding the fish as Barry the black trevally will bit if you aren't careful 😁.. so many beautiful fish and so friendly also, they happily swim around you. We did see any Manta Ray but still were not disappointed.

We made it here via Red Cat tours (highly recommend). Seeing the maori wrassi here was a highlight!

Best Snorkelling spot. Even the little kids could get in and swim with the abundant fish life. From coral beach shallows to ~5m deep.

The cyclone a couple of years ago wiped out nearly all of the coral, but there's still a lot of fish to see if you like snorkeling.
