The Hummock Lookout

Great lookout. Nice elevated piece of land that gives sweeping views of the surrounds. The surrounding area is quite flat, so you get to see sweeping expanses all the way to the ocean.
There is a cosy car park available for a couple of cars but fortunately this place is not very busy. There is also a little hut with a speaker that reads out some historical information.

Great lookout and interesting history of the volcano. It might not be very high, but the 360 views are great!

Had a beautiful sunset ride to the top. The colours and views before, during and after sunset, are just spectacular.

A quiet lookout with a lot of parking. It is not high at all and you don’t have to walk (even if you do walk from the street, it’s just a short one).

It’s a nice lookout to go to during the sunset and you get a wide view of the whole of the area. There’s a cute little sign that you can take photos of/with and there’s a bit of information you can read about the place!

A quick in and out. Easy access. Drives straight to the lookout. No need to HIKE for a beautiful view. It was quite windy with light showers when we got there. There is a pre-recorded device that explains most of the lookout and it's area history. Felt it really informative. Spend nearly 40mins there. And if you are looking for a place to spend your idle time this would be a perfect spot.

Just a peaceful slice of town. Great to watch the sunset, walk the dog, and overlook the beautiful farmland that reminds you what the heart of this area is all about.

Fantastic views over he greater Bundaberg area, plenty of parking.

Really is an awesome site/lookout to see the surrounds of Bargara within Bungaberg.

Awesome places to see and visit in the area. You'll notice that there are lots of cane fields in the area as it is a one of the major things grown there, as well as sweet potatoes, peanuts just to name a few.

It's a great place to see and lots of places to see too, get out and about in the area to see whats at the top of the Hummock.

360 views of the patchwork of farms in the region and the ocean. There is an informative audio information point.

Such an awesome view of the ocean and cane fields. Much cooler up there too. Definitely suggest checking it out if you're in the area.

Surprisingly amazing views, it looked like a small hill so we weren't expecting much but was worth the little side detour

Beautiful sunsets. On a clear day you can see Fraser Island. Easy access for parking and 1 spot for disability parking. No bus access roads.

We found this place by accident. beautiful views from the top out to Bargara and back into Bundy. You can have a picnic up there (not many spots). Don't miss this spot.
