Burrum Heads Lion Park Boat Ramp

Beautiful walking tracks beside the stunning clean water. Great facilities with tree lined parks and benches to sit and watch the day roll away. Very well equipped boat ramp and public access. Truly amazing how clean all of this area is and shows the locals really respect their environment 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Best spot to catch the sunset! The old yachts give the views quaint and simple beauty....

Superb spots along the river to have a picnic, cast a line & try to catch a fish or just relax

Very good double boat ramp with floating jetty. Sea wall built to protect against strong winds and current when launching & retrieving. Large amount of parking and toilets.

Great new boat ramp for Burrum Heads. A vast improvement over the old ones.

Lovely spot to visit, pick up a pie or fish and chips ect and sit a while looking at the river. Seats, BBQs and Toilets

This is a superb facility. Set in a gorgeous park suitable for all. Separate parking for cars and boat trailers. Toilets, walkways, picnic tables under shelter, even fish a cleaning bench fish. The ramp is great, easy access, as steep as the tide requires for around here and well maintained to prevent slippery surface build up. Pontoon on the left and break wall off to the right, which is needed because of the tidal current in this inlet. --- Just perfect, a credit to the local community and government.

This is probably as good as boat ramps get. Very new and modern, with lots of boat trailer parking. Has toilets and picnic area.

Incredible spot for a picnic, supreme ocean views, ample parking, functional boat ramp and stainless steel filleting table with running water, toilets, BBQ, shaded seating and tables

Once a week I go to Burrum Heads enjoy it every time the natives are friendly and the bakery coffee is made just how I like it

Definitely a boat ramp here; and is located in Burrum Heads. Unfortunately we didn't see any lions (or 'the' lion) whilst here, but definitely will return in the hope in spotting the local lion.

Decent ramp, rockwall outcrop gives fair protection for launch, retrieval,
