Had the best time. Caught 3 trout, first time trout fishing ever. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The place is really nice. Camped for the night, very quiet. They have powered sites. We will be going back again. Thanks guys, for a fantastic time.

Worthy of 5 stars… this place is beautifully layed out. Just a few hundred metres off Black Mountain road and bitumen from Guyra about 12 minutes away. As you turn off there is a large sign and impressive entrance, a little farther there are tiered powered and unpowered RV sites looking to the north over the trout dams. Onwards to the office where you can book in or buy the delicious smoked trout or if you wish you can choose to try yourself at catching a fish, all the equipment is there and the staff will take care of the cleaning. There are even toilets and shower block which were very clean, and on the eastern side of the office is the foundation of what will be a fabulous green arch leading to outdoor tables and chairs and then a covered cooking and entertainment area. Beautiful views all around and friendly farm animals. So peaceful

Loved this place. Very good facilities, shower toilets. All sites are powered.
It would be chilly in the winter being a Black Mountain 😅

Lucky day and big time in family fishing, my girls caught two big trouts, the guy cleaned them and we just used the bbq provided. It has a good view and great high roof kitchen with proper seating. Thete are Drinks and lures and also smoked trout ready to take home. Its got a small caravan park next door. We will come again.

Truly unique experience and Deano's Dad is a wealth of information and a lovely bloke. Cannot wait to return for some more trout and to enjoy the experience on offer, I.e. camping etc. Deano has worked hard to make this Truly unique and special, definitely highly recommend a visit and an overnight or two to stay and enjoy.

Awesome, went without any gears and knowledge of fishing came back with tons of good memories, happy moments and few kg of fresh delicious 😋 trout fish. Confined within Armidale? grab your keys, hold your purse and off you go to Deano's Springwater Smoky Trout fish.
