Mother Of Ducks Lagoon Nature Reserve

Great place to camp. Free camp with, toliets ,bbq, dump point and water refill station. Guyra is a great little town to support. Motor museum for $2 entry an absolute must.

Free camping. Close to the shops and cafes of Guyra and a lovely walk around the reserve. You are very close the the bowling club with two local supermarkets in town to stock up. Toilets and pump out available.
Go check out the old station which has been kept fresh and the museum too.
Currently the Lagoon is chockers with bird life now the Lagoon is full of water again. Come check it out especially at golden hour for all you budding photographers and it's awesome when the most and fog roll in.

Beautiful wetland, and you can walk for about 2km around the edge. We saw a huge variety of water birds, not just ducks but swans and ibises as well.

Loved this free camping spot. A stroll to public toilets but the camping area remained illuminated throughout the night. Clean drinking water also close by. Be aware the area was chilly in February being so high up.

Absolutely beautiful place to stop for a snack to eat. So quite, lot's of birds and ducks.

Great free camping spot on the outskirts of Guyra. Minimal facilities - toilet block only - there's also a bowlo nearby for a feed and a beer.

It's a beautiful marshland area with a beaut golf course through. Though you must walk out to the furthest pagoda to get the best view over the marshland. Good park with lots of BBQ Facilities toilets and dump point Plus the benefit to free camp for self contained motor homes. This town is to be congratulated for these great facilities.

We stayed in the "Mother of ducks nature reserve" RV friendly free overnight rest area. There is drinking water, picnic tables and a toilet dump point next to the toilet block.
we arrived very late in the afternoon setup walked the area til dark. Then strolled about 150 meters down the road to the Bowles club for a drink and a lovely meal in the morning we woke to the beautiful sounds of wild birds and spent several hours strolling through the nature reserve before heading off. We will be back soon

Awesome. Every Saturday night from 5-8pm Bean Traveling (coffee Jeep) & The Grill Monkeys (Burgers & chips) are there. You can bring a chair, enjoy the awesome food & hot choc or coffee, watch the sunset & enjoy the friendly banter. Make friends with both locals & campers

24hr limit. Donation box near amenities. Clean toilets. Dump Point. A walking distance to shops. Very scenic little town.
