Great experience here. Pet friendly. Really huge rec room. Resident kangaroos. Plenty of warmth with split AC and separate electric heater. New bathroom, fridge. Microwave, TV and mini-stove. Would stay again

Had a wonderful stay here.

The cabins are the cleanest and most well maintained cabin type accomodation I have seen in NSW. Great job to the staff and cleaning crew in keeping the all the old style fixtures and furnishing in great shape.

It says it’s pet friendly here and there wasn’t any whiff of any pet or weird smell at all. There isn’t even any of that old school or RSL type smell you would expect.

The shared entertainment room is very big and lots of videos and actives for young and old.

We would definitely stay again when we are visiting the blue mountains in the future.

My family and I just spent spent 4 nights at Cedar Lodge Cabins, Mount Victoria NSW. We used this as our base for our Blue Mountains holiday.
This is the type of accomodation I usually look for when having a family holiday outing. It is self catering, self contained cabins.
The cost per night was lower than any others in the area, and perfect for our budget.
What I liked about our family cabin is, it was clean, comfortable beds and just spacious enough for our family of 5. The cabin has a split system reverse AC that kept us comfortable. The fridge in our cabin was large enough for a few days stay, I would say about 250L in size with separate fridge and freezer. Electric cooktop and oven, some basic tableware, cookware and utensils. The 4G reception here was very good too (Optus network).
The closest big town with the chain supermarkets would be Lithgow, 15mins away. There is a 24hour Ampol service station about a 60 metre walk away for some basic stuff, barista made coffee and hot servo type food.
We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for a few days away from home.
My only recommendation would be a stronger or larger exhaust fan in the bathroom.
Keep in mind that the cabins are located next to the main highway. We had no problems with the noise, but light sleepers beware.
I would like to thank the owners for our enjoyable stay, and would come back here in future if we visited the area again.

Regards,
Shaun and family

Cedar Lodge Cabins are the best value accommodation I have stayed at in years. Roomy, comfortable with heating and air-conditioning, stand alone cabins in a quiet spot. Google Android TV microwave ,oven with Cooktop and a rice cooker.

My wife and I really enjoyed our 2-week stay here over Christmas with our two toddlers and a dog. We felt at home and particularly appreciate the help with our trailer upon arrival and departure.
Our 2 year old was really excited about the kangaroos that came to visit on the large grass area some mornings.

After travelling in our van in unusually cold weather for the area this time of the year, we felt we needed to stay in a warm place with a hot shower where we could bring our dog. We found Cedar lodge and from the start we were welcomed with a positive experience, given an early check in as our cabin was unoccupied. The owners are lovely people. Our cabin was surprisingly spotless, not a single dog hair! There’s everything you need to cook, you just need to bring your own food. We had the longest sleep since starting our trip which we really needed. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for a pet friendly accomodation in this area. Also a great garden at the back to give them a stretch. Keep them on lead as there is a lot of birds and wildlife. I read from other reviews that the interior is outdated and so on, but honestly, for what you are paying compared to other places, it exceeded our expectations. If you want some fashionable interior design, get a 5 star hotel and pay 4 times the price.

Cosy and comfortable little cottage suitable for our kids and dog for a one night stay. Exceeded my expectations and although in places the decor is a tad dated, everything worked and was comfortable. Beautiful surrounding gardens and some great touches like biscuit and extra towels and bedding in the cabin. Well equipped for self catering if needed.

We stayed in the spa cabin and it was absolutely brilliant.
The view from our window was breathtaking.
The spa bath was amazing.
The bed was massive.
Double shower.
Air-conditioned with a new system that was really nice.
The cinema/games room was really nice with a pool table and an extra side room with a keyboard and games station.
It was a little gem and I will definitely be going back.

Great cabin for a couple or a small family and a pet. Location is excellent - next to a gas station with basic needs you can buy from there. 6 km drive to Blackheath if you want to dine or have a take away. Cabin has a beautiful view of the mountains with the sight of incoming rain and fog. The cabin itself has everything that you need except for the brush, toothpaste, body wash, cooking oil and additional toilet rolls that you have to bring.

We stayed here for 2 nights and we really enjoyed
They also have a game room where you can watch movies, play games, poker tables and cards, jukebox machine with lovely songs, and for my husband happiness they have a pinball old stile game machine ... he spent our 2 days getaway in there ahahhahahaha
We booked the room with the spa bath such a relaxation 😌
Dogs are allowed, we brought our poppy with us, and she enjoyed all the nature around the cabin
It's such a lovely place and a big thank you to the lady who served us at the reception, a very lovely person
We will definitely come back

Totally fantastic. Was a last minute booking & lucky for us there was 1 cabin available. It wasn't 1 of the spa cabins but it wasn't lacking comfort. There is also a games room with pool table, card table, pinball machine, jukebox, very extensive DVD range, many fridges, 2 microwaves, dishwasher, large tv in both yes both of the games rooms ALL ARE FREE for guests to use. Fantastic views, great grounds to walk/play.

My stay well exceeded my expectations. So much love is put into every detail inside the cabins and around the lodge. I woke up to some kangaroos in the back field which was excitingly unexpected. The team at Cedar Lodge Cabins were overly accommodating to my needs. I have already recommended to friends and colleagues and look forward to another stay soon
