Ladybird Cakes

I ordered my wedding cake from Ladybird cakes. Firstly, I recommend trying the tasting box before choosing your flavour/s, it is so fun tasting all the different cakes! My husband and I went with a small vanilla cake and raspberry buttercream as we didn't want anything too massive or rich given we had a dessert buffet at our reception. (I also loved lots of the other flavours, it is hard to choose!) The cake was perfect for what we wanted - we chose a simple pink band for decoration to blend with our flowers and were overall so happy with it. Gina was so lovely and professional through email communication and it was convenient for a family member to pick up the cake from one of three locations. Highly recommend!

From the beginning the team have been so helpful, caring, professional and provided us what we truly wanted for our wedding celebration. Everyone kept talking about how AMAZING the flavour of our cake was and yes as you can see by the image the presentation. Most importantly my husband and I loved the cake! For any event I would highly recommend using ladybird! I know I will ongoing.

I ordered a buttercream birthday cake for my 4 year old. It looked great and was very yummy. Pick up was easy too as there were different pick up locations to choose from.

Ladybird Cakes did our wedding cake and it was an absolute hit! Not only was it beautiful but there was no cake left behind that night. Our venue had kindly served any extra cake in cake takeaway bags and guests nabbed them up quickly! Some guests later told me they were sad they missed out because the cake really was that good.

The flavours we chose were red velvet + cream cheese, toffee cake + toffee buttercream and citrus lemon myrtle + lemon curd. It was easy to decide as we had ordered the tasting boxes they offer which are a real treat and fun to taste with family and friends.

Now, as for design, I saw their vintage buttercream cake on Instagram and needed to have the exact same one as it suited our venue and theme perfectly. Still in love with it today.

Amazing hassle free order of my daughters wedding. And so delicious and beautifully decorated. Highly recommended.

Not the first time we have used Miss Ladybird Cakes, and it definitely won't be the last time! As always, the team were so friendly and efficient to deal with and the cake/cupcakes were OUTSTANDING! We were able to give every guest a gluten free and/or vegan option and even those who didn't need it couldn't tell because they are still THAT DELICIOUS! Gina is such a friendly person to deal with and not only that when we ordered our first a taster box it was so delicious. Their instagram account is filled with amazing looking wedding cakes to choose from. I decided to also get cookies with our names on it as a bonbonniere and they came out so beautiful.

I told Gina I will like the cake to complement the way how my dress look with the ruffles. I am so blown away with the way our cake looked at the end. The cake texture looks just like a blooming flower!

Absolutely amazing and completely saved the day for our wedding when our original cake maker told us she should no longer cater for our dietary requirements less than a week out.
Miss Ladybird was able to produce 30 delicious cupcakes which people are still raving about.

The team at Miss Ladybird Cakes made us our gorgeous wedding cake last year, and it blew us away! Not only was it so pretty, but it tasted absolutely delicious and it was a huge hit with the guests (we picked strawberries and champagne flavor in semi-nude). How often do you hear that there was barely any wedding cake left uneaten at the end of the night? They were also able to make some gluten-free cupcakes for our GF guests in the same flavour. They were great in the communication and design process leading up to the big day too. We would highly recommend Miss Ladybird to anyone looking for a cake for their big event!

Just wanted to say thank you to Gina and the Miss Ladybird team for the lovely and delicious cake they made for our wedding in March.

As you can see in the photo, the cake looked absolutely beautiful! The textured gold leaf and cascading ruffles were just stunning under our venue’s pendant lights, sitting as a feature in the dining room. Our guests could not stop raving about the flavours we chose. The choc salted caramel was particularly popular!

We are so glad we chose Miss Ladybird to prepare our cake. They did absolutely fantastic work in nailing this key element of our day.

A huge shout out to the team at Miss Ladybird Cakes for our stunning cake for our wedding. The whole process of communicating with Gina and the team was easy and stress-free, who guided us in our decision to one of the most delicious parts of the night (a hot tip - slices of wedding cake are one of the easiest things to eat on the night as in between photos, the dance floor and quick conversations. I should know because I had 5 pieces!) Ordering a tasting box to enjoy with your nearest and dearest on the process is also an absolute must! Highly recommend - Miss Ladybird Cakes made our wedding cakes and bonbonierres for our wedding in late February 2022. Instead of one cake we bought 4 different smaller cakes, so that we could have a vegan cake and a variety of options. We got 3 x 7" cakes and 1 x 5" vegan cake for a cake table. They were incredible - they tasted and looked amazing, and there was plenty of cake for 50 people!

We wanted something a bit different to a standard plain wedding cake, and Ladybird cakes definitely delivered - so many guests mentioned how much they loved the cakes, and how great it was to have some variety to choose from. Our favourite cake was the Lamington Cake, and many people mentioned that their favourite was the Lemon Myrtle Cake (our venue put slices of multiple cakes on each plate which was a great idea, because everyone got to try multiple flavours). Miss Ladybird Cakes also made our bonbonierries, which were little wagon wheels. The wagon wheels were delicious, high quality and again many guests commented on them, and Ladybird cakes offered to put stickers on them for us which was a great help as well.

Miss Ladybird Cakes delivered our cakes to the venue and took them out of the boxes which was much appreciated. Overall we would highly recommend Miss Ladybird Cakes for any occasion - their communication was thorough, prompt and professional, prices are reasonable, and most importantly their cakes are delicious.

We originally came by Gina as she was one of the preferred suppliers of our venue - and we are so glad that we were able to avoid looking after our first stop! We initially ordered 2 sample boxes to try the best sounding flavours (and there are a lot of fun ones to choose from!) and made a night of it with some friends. ALL the flavours were incredibly tasty so it was difficult to choose. We ended up selecting White Chocolate & Passionfruit and Chai Spice for our two tier cake. Gina was very responsive and helpful to all our emails in the lead up to the wedding, and we were particularly impressed with how flexible she was in downsizing our cake to cater for our smaller covid-wedding without fuss. The communication around picking up the cake & transport was also super clear. On the evening, the cake was as described, it was stunning - perfect for our small wedding - and super delicious! Bought a cake last minute for a family birthday party. We got the strawberry champagne cake. It was absolutely delicious, the icing was so nice too-Not too sweet, and not too much. Was perfect! Easy to pick up. Definetly recommend!
