Beyond happy that I chose Be a Star Bridal for my wedding gown alterations. Gina & Tanja were amazing and created the exact vision I wanted. They listened to what I envisioned, set expectations for me and really made me feel like a bride.
I took my family along with me a few times, and they felt just as welcomed as I did.
My dress was sleeveless, and when I decided I didn't like my arms, the team added these beautiful butterfly sleeves - so seamless you would never know they weren't part of the dress!

I found my beautiful wedding dress at Be a Star Bridal. I felt like a princess - the dress was unique, glamorous, comfortable and affordable. The team are so lovely and personable, they were meticulous when it came to the alterations, making sure the dress fit perfectly!

This is a very belated review, but I wanted to say thank you so much to the whole team! (Diane, Tanja & Gina!) Last January I went to have my first day looking at dresses and had been to Grace Loves Lace in the morning. I was completely deflated as everything looked awful and didn’t fit. On the way home, just by chance drove past and went into Be a Star Bridal. I walked in and advised that I was getting married in 3 months and was only recently engaged. Diane greeted me and was so accommodating. I gave her a list of things I thought I wanted and she professionally guided me through how the wedding dresses work and what is beneficial for a bigger bust. Her knowledge was priceless. She was so honest & loving and it was fabulously refreshing. All of a sudden, I become excited again and tried 5 gowns on that all looked stunning. I went away and came back 2 weeks later to try on the one gown I thought I would buy. I wasn’t 100% on it and the lovely Tanja suggested a slightly different dress which was PERFECT. All three ladies then helped me celebrate saying yes to the dress. Both my Mum and sister-in-law came with me on that first day and had a beautiful time. It will forever be a very treasured memory. I could not recommend this store enough if you are looking for your wedding dress!

I visited Be a Star to try on wedding dresses for the very first time. I was incredibly nervous but that quickly went away as I was in such great hands with the lovely ladies there. It’s a nerve racking experience trying on your first wedding dress, but the amazing ladies at Be A Star made the experience unforgettable. Highly skilled and fab service. I had two dresses altered and their understanding and tailoring took it to a whole new level - I didn’t even know it could be better in some areas but they left no stone unturned. So happy, and I didn’t feel rushed. Price was also good 👍

Very helpful and positive staff especially Tania she was full of great recommendations and was very patient. We didn't feel rushed and felt comfortable to browse at our own pace. The store had lots of different styles and prices to suit any budget or style.

I got my wedding dress from here and so many people complimented on the uniqueness of the dress and how it suited me so much. The staff members were amazing and knew exactly what they were doing and had helped me found the perfect dress.

I had my appointment on Saturday and from the moment myself and my 2 friends walked in the door we were made to feel so welcome and special. The store is beautiful and so welcoming. Tanja was amazing. She asked me what I was looking for then gave us time to look and choose some gowns. I decided to try on a gown that was not what I had in mind and fell in love but still tried on the styles I thought I wanted. Tanja was fantastic as she knows her job well and knew the first dress I tried I loved so knew I would love a similar dress and as soon as I put it on I knew this was the one.. so did my 2 best friends.
I had an appointment at another bridal store just after down the road but the service, feel of the store and the state of the dresses were so poor compared to Be A Star Bridal I just didn't have anywhere near the same experience trying on dresses and I couldn't wait to go back to Tanja and "Say yes to the Dress"
When we went back the saying yes experience at Be A Star with my 2 best friends was so special thanks to Tanja and the girls.

So after having my gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown botched by a very well known bridal stores in house alteration team (only a few days before my wedding) I was freaking out. But be a star bridal came extremely highly recommended to me by many girls who have had the same thing happen to their wedding dress. I am getting married on Tuesday so rang them in a panic only a few days before on Thursday morning and they got me in right away at 11.30am. When they saw my dress they instantly knew exactly what to fix as the dress honestly did look incomplete from the other store. They did all these alterations within only a day and I picked the dress up today. They were extremely helpful, professional, caring and perfectionists which I loved. They were the first bridal store I went to who genuinely cared about making my dress look perfect for my big day. I was so beyond happy with the work they did and when I tried on my dress today it was PERFECT!! They did beyond what I imagined they would. Their work was immaculate and I’m so glad that I can now sleep easy before my wedding knowing that my dress will be perfect on the day. Thank you so much again your store has literally saved the day!! I’ll be recommending you to everyone I know.

Gina did an amazing job of altering my dress so that it fit me perfectly! We met three times for fittings and Gina was lovely each time, listening to my concerns and was very knowledgeable and skilled.

I cannot recommend Be A Star Bridal enough!! The ladies are so incredibly lovely and positive, and bring such a fun energy to the store! I cannot thank Tanja enough for her honesty, as it was what led me to finding my dream wedding dress!! I'm looking forward to working with the ladies for all the alterations soon!!

The girls here are beyond incredible. It can be very overwhelming for brides to be when it comes to the wedding industry and anything that involves it but the girls were so helpful and warm that they help ease any stress involving your dress. I was very late to organize alterations to my dress but the girls was so welcoming and calm that I knew I was in good hands. I honestly would recommend these girls to anyone and everyone who needs their wedding dress altered. They are extremely well knowledgeable in this field and have such an eye for things you would’ve even initially notice.

Tanja was incredibly helpful when I was purchasing my wedding dress. I had left dress shopping quite last minute and felt judgement when I had visited a few other wedding dress stores. I contacted Be A Star Bridal and Tanja was accommodating, taking her time with me even though I was unsure whether I would wear a traditional wedding dress or something more casual. She was helpful with choosing a dress that would suit my personality, casual wedding and body shape. I tried on a dress I liked but not loved, Tanja informed me they were having a dress arrive a week or two later that she thought I would prefer. Most bridal shops I visited made me feel a sense of urgency to purchase on the day and pressure to settle for a dress I didn't love just to make a sale. Not Tanja she really wanted me to be happy and find "the one" and that I did. Thank you Tanja for your honesty and help you made the experience positive and fun.
