Glad to see a full size Newsagency still open, these days, it also had what aIl I wanted, terrific, it had a lot of everything, recommended 😃👍

Compared to 99% of other newsagents this place is a little ripper large shop space generously filled with content..... trouble is a miss when the better places were almost a pilgrimage as they were genuinely better and made conspicuous efforts to be so especially in the depth of the range they stocked, Cheltenham used to be one 😪😓

Extremely rude older man working there. I went to pick up a parcel (which the business gets paid to offer as a service). I was patiently waiting quietly while he served someone. After about 1 minute happily waiting; the elderly man stopped in the middle of serving his lotto customer (entirely voluntarily, with no prompt) to serve me. I told him I was waiting to collect a parcel and he rudely barked at me that I would have to wait for him to serve the ACTUAL customers... the one man that he had stopped serving to speak to me, that I was happy to wait for. How incredibly rude?! I wasn’t demanding or impatient, I was waiting politely and he chose to initiate this interaction in this way then proceeded to ignore me when I said I thought I was a customer. Another man came from the back of the shop to assist with my parcel collection. I was actually going to buy a couple of things while there but after being told I wasn’t a real customer I decided I will take my business elsewhere. On the way out the rude guy told me my parcel looked interesting (in a super weird tone) so I decided to speak up to tell him he made me feel horrible earlier by saying I wasn’t really a customer and that I actually had been a customer in the past and was planning to buy something at this time. Instead of listening to how his comments had made me feel as a customer and apologise, he rudely yelled at me again about how I need to wait for real customers.
Next time I will go anywhere else. I’d rather drive to the next suburb to the lovely, friendly people at Parkdale than go near this guy ever again.

Worst customer service of any newsagency. Rude, hostile, apathetic staff. On collecting a parcel, they encountered problems with their dysfunctional computer system so refused to release my parcel to me despite my providing the delivery docket and photo ID. They made zero effort to solve the problem for me and refused to let me take possession of my parcel. I phoned the delivery company (Toll) and they instructed the newsagent over the phone to release the parcel to me but they still refused, presumably out of sheet spite.
Thankfully I was able to get the parcel recalled and another one re-sent to my home address through a different delivery company but my God that was a lot of work that would have been avoided had the newsagent delivered even a basic level of customer service and common sense.

Newsagency was not open according google hours. Very inconvenient.

Very poor home delivery service. Newspapers very often not delivered at all, or delivered late morning. Very disappointed!!
