Parkside Cafe

A must stop for a quick lunch and break while visiting QLD! In my opinion, the Work Burger is the best burger in Australia, it's big, juicy, and only $11. I also love the BLT and fishNchips, great deal for a family lunch and great view for a bathroom break.

This lovely cafe in Woodburn is our regular stop for breakfast when we are travelling to Sydney from the north coast. You can always rely on their ham ,cheese, tomato and avo toasties being delicious. Their sandwich servings are generous and their food is always fresh.They also make great a cappuccino. You can eat in or take away and their menu is extensive and all very reasonably priced. The burgers are also delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful, providing great customer service.

So thankful that they were open, we needed coffee and my latte was perfect! They were also super friendly. Also the pastries looked amazing!

We stopped here at 10pm on Sunday night. We were served freshly cut toasted sandwiches and beautiful burger with satay sauce. Good tasty food. Great service. Compliments to the girl who served us. Thankyou.

We stood here regularly when travelling up & down the highway. The staff are always friendly, the food is great & such a variety. Lovely & clean with great seating inside & out. 24 hr service is a big bonus. Well down girls.

Fantastic burger and fish...fresh, large and tasted beautiful. Good cup of tea...service perfect..well worth the wait as they were flat out. They could not apologise to us enough for making us wait...loved it and will be back

Best burgers I’ve ever eaten - bar NONE. I stop at Parkside Cafe every time I drive up to Queensland for a beef burger with the lot and always leave with a full tummy and smile on my face. The service is quick and friendly, and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend a stop here if you’re hungry!

Stopped in to the Parkside Cafe in Woodburn on our way from Sydney to the Goldcoast. Great chocolate milkshake nice and cold, creamy and not too sweet, just perfect. Also shared an apple turnover and lamington with my wife, both were delicious and served in big generous portions. Almost couldn't eat them all, but we managed :)

Beautiful Australian Tucker. done with a smile with generous portions. Best Food on the Pacific Highway from Sydney all the way to Brisbane. Heaps of Truckies stop and you know they know good food and where to get it. Locally sourced Organic espresso done the way you ask. Get treated like a Royal.

Favorite coffee place GREAT coffee and staff

Really good service, great food and there are some really comfy chairs in the dining area. It's a much quieter (and nicer) cafe since the bypass which makes it worth the short trip off the highway.

Highly recommend. This is one of the best cafes I’ve been to. I’d rate the food better than most Sydney cafes and the service was excellent. We will make it a regular place to stop from now on

First time we've actually stopped at this place after driving through several times before hand and no complaints. Friendly service and the food was pretty good!

The lady was having trouble with her EFTPOS machine, but was super friendly and we had a nice chat whilst waiting for it to connect. Cold drinks, hot food, friendly service. Nice.

Good strong coffee and hot keeps you alive and going.

I haven't been disappointed with the service or food. It's really an oasis of the night as it's pretty well the only place open between Chinderah and Grafton. Parking can be a bit of a problem on the weekend though (for trucks)

I work at this cafe, just wanted to post some information on the cafe for traveler's.
The last true 24hr cafe left on the M1 between Sydney and Brisbane, open all year round.
100% independent and Australian owned, we make our food fresh daily including our beef burger patties, made from local products.
Our pies and sausage rolls come in every morning, and we have a nice selection of ready to go hot food as well as sandwiches, rolls and wraps or we can make fresh to your likeing.
You could go to MacDonalds or another chain store for a cheap salt and sugar filled meal where cheap wages are paid to staff or come to a locally and Australian owned cafe. Always open.
Ps. For comments below if you buy reduced to clear food at 3am for half price or less then come on.... lash out and buy the fresh stuff😊

I love this little cafe it reminds me so much of one in my childhood... I always stop here when I go to newcastle and again on my way home to Tweed Heads..the food is lovely and their hamburgers are to die for!
