Pony and Cole

We arrived at 8:15am and found the place almost full already.
I had the big breakfast and was very tasty bacon was crisp, hash brown very soft and fluffy. My wife had the pork belly Benny and was melt in your mouth pork with a nice crackling on top. Staff friendly and inviting and atmosphere were very pleasant and it was nice to relax and watch the traffic go by on a beautiful Saturday morning. A delicious breakfast for us. Thank you, Penny. I would highly recommend booking a table to miss disappointment of being turned away due to being booked out.

We arrived at the restaurant at 8:15 and were surprised to see that many customers had already arrived. All the available seats were reserved. We didn't make a reservation, but the staff was kind enough to prepare a seat for us. I ordered the Pork Belly Benny and my husband ordered the Big Breakfast. I can see why this place is said to be the best breakfast in Australia. The food is delicious and very beautiful. It's a very popular restaurant so you will have to wait a little, but if you can enjoy this time, it will be the start of a great day.
The staff are busy but friendly and welcoming.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

I don't usually write reviews EVER, but I have to say that they do live by their award "Best Breakfast in Australia"

I have been coming to this place for before work, after my gym sessions, or during a bad day, and have tried a lot of their menu. As much as I'd like to talk about all the food items I've tried here, this would be pages long... I think.

The atmosphere of the place has been pleasing to my eyes every since. I always enjoyed the coffee. And the food? Indulgent, healthy, good for soul, any other good adjective there. Had their slices and cakes, tasted amazing too. Not once have I left feeling unsatisfied. On top of that, their service has been consistently amazing. Not saying this as a 'regular' but I recall my first time here and they've been very welcoming, serving me with cheerful smiles on their faces. This place is full of passion and love.

ALSO! Monthly pancake flavors??? YES PLEASE!

TL:DR: Place is amazing. Worth going to. 11/10. Go for monthly pancake flavors. Watch for menu changes. Lovable staff. Thank you for always satisfying my hunger :)

Salad and chicken was very good, a large amount of serve so you can share as well. Pork belly benny was one of the best I have ever experienced with its combination and unique taste. Steak sandwitch was very classy and very complex in the taste as well, so love the presentation of them all. Staff and service was lovely, though the space was very busy, we find ourself enjoying the food and the moment better then.

This is my second review of P&C, I have deleted the first one as I felt it was unfair and I have written it after only getting some coffees.

Since that time we had some food including a wonderful Mother's Day lunch today. When it comes to breakfasts this place is absolutely flawless. We loved everything about all our dishes, from their presentation to their flavours and even serving sizes.

Eggs benedict with pork belly are just spectacular and my only complain about it, was that the rest of the family stole way to much from my plate while enjoying their own dishes.

I wish their wine list was a bit more comprehensive but overall the place is absolutely amazing and we highly recommend it.

Great brunch place! Easy to make booking online. Food was very good, reasonable portions and quite filling.
The staff were a wonderful bunch and very friendly.

I got to especially mention how they were so professional and kind in sorting out our Liven payment. I’ve bought their Liven Brandollars, intending to use it for this brunch, however the Liven app was not working on their side. They did try their best to restart the app so I can pay. Sadly it still didn’t work.
In return, they took our drinks off the bill, which I felt was extremely kind of them ❤and the best service I’ve received! We would have gladly paid for the food & drinks as they are worth every dollar!

Hopefully their Liven gets fixed soon, because getting their Brandollars is quite worth it in a group brunch!

Great ambience, large seating area, friendly service. Place seems almost somewhat packed. We had brunch there, whereby the burger menu is available from 11.30 onwards. Food is delicious, the serving size just average, though it should be noted that the prices are a tad above average cafe prices.

For the pork belly benedict, the eggs were huge and cooked to perfection. The pork belly was fatty, crunchy and meaty, though I wished for a bigger serving.

First time visiting here and won’t be my last. How have I not heard about this place sooner?! Such lovely friendly service, made me feel super welcomed and like I was a family member. Then drinks, holy cow - fresh juice on tap?!? That’s unheard of and absolutely perfect for me. I love a fresh juice! My partner had the staunch banana smoothie and devoured it. We ate the honey roasted pear pancake special, and the pork belly eggs Benny. I can’t type right now because my mouth is watering just thinking about it. We will definitely be back! Going to eat our way through the menu. Thank you for having us today.

One of the more interesting brunch menus that we’ve seen so far. Not your average eggs ben. Everything had a slight twist which was great. Coffee was good. Food good. Service was okay, we had to wait for a while for our orders to be taken. Parking easily accessible at the back.

With its vibrant atmosphere and delicious coffee, Pony and Cole Cafe is a great spot for a casual brunch or lunch. The cafe was quite busy when I visited at 9am, but I was able to find a seat easily. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the coffee was excellent. I'll definitely be back to try more of the food!

Lovely, bustling cafe serving some really nice food. If you’re going on a weekend for breakfast or brunch, make sure you call ahead and get a reservation.
We got a seat outside. It was chilly and windy, but the heater right above the seat gave us the best of both worlds.

We visited this nice local cafe during the weekend for the first time and enjoyed having a delicious brunch. The food and coffee were amazing along with great customer service. Will definitely be back here soon to try more of the menu.

We have stopped into Pony and Cole a few times for coffee but on this occasion we dined in for brunch. The food and service was excellent and the general atmosphere and styling of the place deserves its own accolade too! Love the urban and earthy tones. Overall a great place to visit!

I had pork belly benny and Hawaiian french toast! The poached eggs on the benny were perfect and I loved the combi with pork, sauce and polenta. Hawaiian french toast was epic! Loved all the flavours🤤😋
And their service was truly impressive!
