Wollombi Brook Family Farm Stay

We had a such a wonderful time staying in the cottage. It was the perfect size for a family and had everything we needed.
Huge call out to Geoff - he went above and beyond to make it a fun experience for us, showing us around the farm and getting us involved in the feeding of the horses, cows and alpacas. He even found out my 10 year old son’s favourite animal was a wombat, and when a mother and her joey were roaming the paddock one day he came up to the cottage to fetch him so that he could go and watch, ensuring it was a truly special experience.
My son is already asking when we can return.

An absolutely incredible stay! The farmhouse is incredible, has plenty of space, beautiful furnishings, super comfy beds, four wonderful bathrooms and the best kitchen to work in! The jam-packed welcome hamper was an extra lovely touch. The property is beautifully maintained, the pool is exactly what you need on a hot summer's day and the horses, shetland ponies and lamas are just a stone's throw away. It was such a pleasure booking with Annie and her family, everything was clearly communicated and we were treated like family. Absolutely recommend! We will be booking again.

This place was beyond our expectations, from bread making, damper making to swimming in a gorgeous pool with amazing backdrops. Our welcome package was full of all yummy treats and a delicious breakfast. Clean spacious rooms and living areas big enough for us all to gather. Feeding the animals was a cherry on top
For the kids. A great family escape for 3 families that gave us time to relax and unwind. Will definitely be back.

We stayed with a group of 6 families for a long weekend in April - it was amazing!!! The set up of both the main house and cottage was perfect - providing areas for groups to hang out and also private space if you want to relax on your own.
The grounds are beautiful and we definitely made use of all the facilities - the pool, spa, fireplace and games room! The kids loved feeding the animals.

Annie was an amazing host and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she gave so much thought to the finer details which made our stay awesome.

We absolutely loved our weekend stay in The Cottage. We were so warm and comfortable and every tiny detail did not go unnoticed. We especially appreciated the food box of marshmallows, pancake mix and farm laid eggs and bacon!!! The property is so peaceful and waking up to the animals in the morning was so lovely! The spa and outdoor fire made the evenings so fun! Wollombi itself had a couple of great restaurants too. We didn’t want to leave!! Thanks for such a great place to stay!

Wonderful extended family stay at Wollombi Brook Farm House - we had 12 people staying in the Farm House for the weekend. It was the celebration of a significant birthday, and the property provided a great location for family memories to be made, with the kids spending almost all their time on the trampoline and in the pool, except for short interruptions to eat and to feed the farm animals.
The adults enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, chatting around the huge dining table and relaxing outdoors and in the lounge (and in the pool for some). The bedrooms are tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms are new, with the whole house being spotless.
We would love to come back and we highly recommend the property as a great choice for families and groups of friends. The local area is great too - with good pubs and coffee at close range.

We stayed at Wollombi Brook Family Farm Stay with 4 other families, with a total of 5 kids and loved it so much! From feeding the animals with the caretaker to splashing in the pool, we loved roasting marshmallows by the fire and cooking pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven. It was such a peaceful weekend away from Sydney, one I would recommend to anyone. The house is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen is perfect for anyone who loves to cook! We had an absolutely fabulous stay in The Cottage at Wollombi Brook Family Farm Stay. The accomodation was just gorgeous and so thoughtfully put together - it had everything we needed and wanted, was super comfortable and included picturesque views. We loved spending evenings around our own fire pit and having cute animals just outside to meet and feed. My son loved the swing, the giant Connect4 game and Bob the silkie rooster! We hope to visit again someday.

With five children and seven adults booked in, there were plenty of things to do to please everyone. A heated pool? That was a bonus! Despite the rain, most of us had a dip. The welcome pack on arrival was extremely generous. Nice to see newly renovated bathrooms. Luxury bedding and bathroom linen. Towels aplenty for swimmers . Two fridges...another bonus. Interaction with animals with the help of the wonderful farm manager. Games, table tennis tournaments, trampoline, open fire were all part of the fun. Excellent and speedy communication with Annie. Our request for new table tennis bats and a repair to air hockey were quickly resolved. The house is just perfect for families.

Thank you Annie and parents for a wonderful weekend at your farm. We enjoyed feeding the animals, especially the oranges to the cows with their amazing long black tongues. Our granddaughter loved being able to pat your chickens! We stayed in your very well equipped cottage. It was warm and very comfortable. Our big family gatherings were held of an evening around the camp fire at the other house, also extremely comfortable.

Had an amazing stay here with friends. Everything we could ever want was supplied and lovely. The rooms are all well-appointed and the beds are all comfy and the bedding fresh and high quality. We stayed with two toddlers and they had a blast coming along to help feed the animals each day. The caretaker, Jeff, was amazing - so friendly and helpful. The pool was an absolute delight and we had a good explore around the property. This farm had everything we were after and we had a wonderful time. Will definitely be back - next time we'll bring more friends and rent both homes on the property so everyone can join in on the fun!!

We had the most fantastic stay at Wollombi Brook for a brilliant Tennis Retreat with coach David Falconer! The Farm Stay was perfect for accommodating our group of 8 as it is fully facilitated and very cosy in style. Annie is an exceptional host who has every detail considered, from ample breakfast and dinner supplies, beautiful wine and cheese for important post-tennis sustenance as well as organising a great tasting at a local winery one evening. However, having private chefs come to the house one evening was seriously next level, not to mention they cleaned up before leaving!

The tennis aspect was perfectly arranged by David, an ideal mix of drills, matches, fun and challenge - and plenty of laughs! The 12 hours or so of tennis flew by!!

I rate the weekend over 5 stars and couldn't recommend highly enough!

We stayed in the cottage this long weekend and loved it. The kids really enjoyed feeding the animals with Jeff. Julie also made us feel welcome by checking in on us when we arrived and ensured we had everything we needed. The accommodation was great and it had everything you could possibly need. The breakfast hamper was awesome and the fresh eggs were so tasty. Would recommended this place to anyone that wants a short or long stay. Thanks again.

Wow, Wow Wow, what a fabulous experience for any family or group of friends or both. The accommodation is exceptional, clean and filled with welcoming touches to make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. AS guests we could not have asked for anything more!

Annie and Michael are wonderful, caring hosts that assist with entertainment and education component of the farm stay for the kids, who are still raving about their stay and asking when they can go back to 'The Farm'.

We stayed in the cottage whilst our friends stayed in the main house, it was a perfect destination for the large group, and we were able to cook and share meals in a such a comfortable environment. The kids were busy the whole time, with the pool, trampoline, table tennis, animals and rides on the golf cart.

Only a short drive from Sydney this is a great getaway that we will be booking into again in the very near future, needless to say, we could not rate this adventure higher!

What a wonderful group stay we had! 3 families stayed comfortably in this large home. Beautiful house with the best stocked kitchen and pantry we have ever seen! Annie's communication was amazing. Jeff was a hit with the kids, taking them to feed the animals. Tranquil setting. Trampoline, pool and games room to entertain the kids. We hope to visit again soon!

A fabulous weekend at Wollombi Brook Farm to celebrate mum’s 90th. Daughters, nieces ,granddaughters & a couple of token blokes(20ish all up) Very comfortable & well equipped accommodation, would highly recommend , particularly if you have a big group.

Annie was amazing to deal with leading up to our wedding - her communication and assistance was really appreciated and the accommodation exceeded all expectations. A great house if you have a wedding in the area or just want a weekend away with friends and / or family.

5 nights of bliss.. we had 3 families all staying at the farm house, we roasted marshmallows and sang and danced around the fire pit. The kids swam everyday in the pool. Bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything you needed. The caretakers were super nice. We went around and feed all the animals with Jeff and Julie. Saw lots of animals and lizards and shooting stars.. will definitely be a returning guest
