Long bumpy ride but very worth it. This gorge is all about the water and less about the hiking. Loving the interconnected pools and lounging on the stones soaking up the sun.

Great day relaxing in the sun , amazzing rocks that are billions of years old. Gravel road is a little rough at the end. Water is cool. Had a great swim. Probably water all year around

Amazing relaxing destination that shouldn't be missed. A few steep steps and some tricky trails to get to the water but worth every bit for a cool dip on a hot day (and it'll be hot!)
Worth taking a test bag for your camera if you want the best pics, as well as a few picnic snacks and plenty of water if you want to spend a few hours down there, exploring the wonders of this gorge, one of the best in the Pilbara.
Toilets and a fair bit of parking, but it can get busy during peak tourist season, so going early or late can pay off

Awesome swimming spot. Dirt road to get there from Tom Price but worth the drive. Carpark is right next to pools. Recommend starting at the top pool and working down. Water is warm.

Absolutely stunning.
A perfect place to enjoy the refreshing waters on a warm summer's day. Spa Pool is a bit of a clamber and paddle away but definitely worth while!

Absolutely amazing and worth the challenge to be able swim in the spa. Nature's beauty at it's best! Highly recommend sneakers or good walking shoes so you can grip the rocks when making it over to the gorges and spa. It's very slippery near the waters edge so be careful when entering the water and after swimming. Also let tyre psi down for driving on corrugated roads when entering the park.

Car parking was somewhat tight with people parking on the sides of the road. The gorge itself is magnificent and the rock formations totally worth seeing. The swim was excellent and also a must do. Access to the top pool was too slippery for us to attempt and this proved to be the case for two people that slipped on the shiny steep rocks.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. but really recommend proper walking shoes/sneakers to get down and back up the rocks. The rocks are very jaggered and sharp and slippery when wet.
Breath taking swim down the gorge- if you have a camera that likes water definitely take it with you on the swim.

Great place. If you haven't been there, add it to your bucket list. The stairs were a bit tough but manageable, and the reward was well worth it... 👌

Probably enjoyed Hamesley Gorge as much as any in Karijini. The road in was mostly good other than a bit of corrugation. The spa was brilliant and the longer swim was beautiful too

This place is definitely worth the walk down (and back up) for a swim and a look. Spectacular rock walls and the waterfall and swimming holes are beautiful.

Easy gorge to access (with reasonable fitness)
Take separate footwear to wear in the water.
Closed in shoes to walk in and out of gorge.
A floating aide if you want to swim full length of water way that is about 200 meters in total length.
We were here in early May 2024, a traveler played a tune from the Bagpipes at Spar pool, a very unique experience.

I loved this Gorge. It's has amazing colours, rock formations and plenty of photo ops. Walk down the stairs to the main pool, go right to go up the rock to the spa pool and left to swim down the Gorge. The walk to the main pool is easy and noice swimming, the rock scrambling to the spar poll is difficult unless you swim and it's a tad cold. Either way the spa pool is worth it.

What an amazing experience! Simply stunning. Got the Spa Pool to myself, had a swim and took some pictures with my phone. Will be going back soon and expolring the area a little more.

Fantastic rock formations and lovely colours, water is cold but not giving you a cramp! We were able to swim for a while in the top larger swimming hole, it is very slippery once to try to get out of water! Best to go middle of the day at this time of the year so it is not so cold once swimming! Needs good gripping shoes to do the track , goes down pretty steep but near the water there are also large flat bolders on an angle that challenge gravity! To drive back we took the Nanutarra-Munjina Rd then the Bingarn Rd, they were both in great condition! The Mt Bruce Rd that we took on the way up , was horrible....we have a 4x4 sprinter! Bringing a caravan is problematic considering the very small and hilly parking!

Try to come early. Noon time are a bit hard to get parking. If you are coming from Tom price then the road are still acceptable but if you are coming from Karijini visitor centre/ Newman be mentally prepared the road are quite rough

Going here is like visiting another world. It's also one of the easiest gorges to get into so it's ok to bring your fam! It's a long drive in on the outskirts of Karajini so we went day one on our way in. Take the steps down into the gorge, if you go right and up a ladder youll find yourself in the famous waterfall pool - which looks like something out of a dream. It's a slippery walk recommend high grip shoes. On the left you can swim down stream between the protruding gorge. The rock faces of the gorge have those amazing red and orange patterns. We spent more than half a day exploring here. But as always it's best early in the morning, or mid afternoon so the sun isn't too extreme. And remember - don't leave your rubbish anywhere, take it away with you. We found a cigarette butt, extremely disappointing whoever did that should be ashamed. (Cigarettes filters are plastic and don't degrade - yuck!) For more visit our insta @saltandcharcoalau

Ah-May-Zing! Such a beautiful spot, east walk in, drive was good but we are used to bumpy unsealed roads. There is a fair bit of sealed road to the area.
Easy walk down to the main area, further area and little pools/falls to find if you endeavour up the rocks further south.
The rock formations are just amazing, so huge yet they have been bent in all sorts by time.
Overall a beautiful gorge and falls, was too cold to swim in but we spent an hour or more taking in the vibe of the place. Beautiful.
