Commonwealth Bank Elsternwick Branch

Turned up Friday, 4PM.
Doors shuttered.
Heard noises inside and asked, "could I ask someone a question?"
My luck and Don came out from behind the shuttered doors and explained and then helped me deposit a cheque, without a card to insert at the atm.
Thank you Don, service is so lacking these days. You provided an unexpected and old style customer care.
Noted and much appreciated.

Pleasantly surprised as in my experience customer service isn't good at alot of CBA branches,but here they were all good! I also didn't have to wait so all round I don't mind returning when many in my area I won't be as the service isn't good enough 7 too many long waits!!

Easy layout for a quick trip. Staff were also happy to have a yarn with customers while no one needed help.

One of my favorite banks so far. The branch has one ATM facing street, cash deposit machines open 24/7 and cash change machine. Careless cash facility is also available at these ATMs.

All you need to open a bank account is your Passport. You can quickly apply for a credit card via mobile banking which is hassle free.

Busy Branch. That have a simple notepad listing your name as you enter. If the greeter helps someone out, the this 'triage' system fails.

This must be the ONLY CBA within 5km. All other branches have closed forever. How long until this branch is also permanently closed?

Wish they'd return my interstate phone call or is 24 hours too much to expect. But brilliant service when I lived in Melbourne and it was face to face.

Started a business account... was promised cards within 2-3 weeks but then found that 3 weeks later no order had been placed!!!

No compensation.. was just told oops...

Very bad customer service. The lady working on 26th of February guiding customers on the entrance tried to get rid of me repeating the same information which didn't answer my request. She wasn't professional and I found her approach unrespectful and rude. Because the brunch was so busy, she didn't give me a chance to talk to someone more professional. I will definitely not visit this brunch again. So bad as they were so good a while ago.
