Quite tha French experience! The French girl that served us recommended I try the Galeeye Des Rois, which is like a sweet pie with an almond croissant filling. It has a long history, as explained on the counter. See photo. Ms French girl with her authentic accent was careful to ensure I read the note and expect the ceramic surprise inside the Galette. Quite fun!

Bagel was also delicious.

Great coffee and wonderful pastries. Such a busy cafe/bakery. You know it's good when it's constantly filled with the local tradies. Pictured escargot (half eaten, sorry), chocolate brioche bun and cheese straw

Streets ahead of the opposition. Well worth a visit. The food is great but sometimes the people behind the counter look as if they would rather be elsewhere. If there is any room for improvement, making customers feel welcome is the place to start.

Good COVID-19 protocols. Great selection of sweet and savoury treats attractively displayed in glass cabinets. Breads on sale too. The sweet tarts are a work of art. Loved the raspberry, and the chocolate variety was delicious, too

They are always busy when I go in no matter the time of day however their quince slices are seriously Ten out of Ten, twenty five years sampling them in Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland I've finally found the new winners, after Upper Ferntree gully in Victoria.

Always visit Manubread when I’m in Launnie. Top notch quality patisserie/bakery.

12/2023 - if you are a vegan or vegetarian be careful as some of their cakes have gelatin. Best ask.

Oh my gosh! This bakery was such a great and unexpected find! We chose many options when having afternoon treats, because 1 choice was too hard to make!
Definitely lock in some time into your schedule to pop into Manubread, you will be blown away by the options available.

A fabulous bakery with superb service, wonderful staff and owner, excellent coffee and a mouthwatering array of savoury and sweet options to eat in or takeaway. Parking can be tricky, but Manu is worth it. Dog-friendly outdoor area is the cherry on this sourdough bread destination.

My favourite bakery in Launceston. Excellent quality. Love all their products, sweet, savoury and breads especially the Fig & Fennel and Olive loaves. Yesterday I also treated myself to a new dessert, of white chocolate covered raspberry mousse and coulis on a tiny bead of sponge. Wow.

What is not to love about Manubread...Great coffee, pastries, bread and lovely staff. I bought a sliced sourdough the Family purred.

Magnificent pastries and sweets! A lot of skill is evident in their conception and construction, making for a very delicious eating experience. Highly recommend.

Have been wanting to come here for ages, after following their Instagram page which showcases all their amazing pastries.

Everything was just as delicious as it looks. We had tarts, choux pastries and croissant variations. The service was also wonderful. Cannot wait to come back.
