Budget Airpark

Good price, $5/day.. no extra hidden charges. Very safe parking. However, be careful if you park at the overflow parking area because if it rains... it gets very muddy and if you have a small car like me and not a 4wd, it will be a struggle to get out!!!

This must be the cheapest parking near the airport. Really helpful and useful. Cheaper than long term parking and saver parking at airport.

EDIT: I returned 4 days later and the potholes had been filled in. I am pleased with the prompt action taken. Changing my review from 2 to 4 stars accordingly.

The $5/day price is good but unfortunately they don't maintain the (already quite steep) driveway into the overflow parking. Currently it has a massive set of potholes at the start of the downward slope which mean any non-4WD car will hit its underside very sharply (as found out from personal experience). There are no warning signs about this and the potholes are not visible to a car entering the overflow area due to the steep drop. It is unfortunate that poor maintenance is impacting on an otherwise good carpark.

Best part: Cheapest parking and Worst part: It's always full, Don't go to overflow parking with small car.

My vehicle was stolen from the car park, not just broken into.
Car being broken into in is understood as part of the risk of parking. Site has cameras and a boom gate system.
He stated during inital contact that some body said they lost their ticket on the day then hung up and shortly after a issue with boom gate occurred, he did not follow up. Had he checked footage then he could have contacted police and i may have got my car back in one piece, not stripped and damaged. Only a call to the police from somebody to let them know a car was dumped on train lines ment i could try to recover it. The park owner is not answering any forms of multiple contact. Which i have found out is not uncommon. The website states they do NOT accept ANY liabilty which cant be lawful surely. I might as well park on the road if it is not safe to park a car there. I would recommend that you consider a different more secure parking area it's worth the few extra dollars for piece of mind.
