How to bank in person when you work from 9-5pm? Monday to Friday?

Lose a day of work (-cash), to go save at the bank 🙄

Decided to come into the bank that i have been with for 15+ years to exchange coins to notes (Usually a simple trade). However, when i had eventually been given the chance to speak to a representative, i had been directed to count the coins myself. To which i had complied with, in addition to the machines being broken, it had taken above 45 minutes to sort a simple exchange from coins to notes. I would definitely suggest going to a branch like Breaside, where they offer individual representatives to sort and assist with the speedy exchange. I would simply retain from returning to this branch with the sarcastic attitude displayed throughout the whole interaction.

Gone down the tube, like the rest of them.
Replaced people with machines, the machines are constantly broken.
Poor tellers are stuck between terrible management and trying to help people but not given the ability to do so.

I deposited over $5000.00 in the night banking bussiness ATM on the 21st dec at the Elsternwick branch and after placing the deposit bag into the night safe shute the machine gave me a receipt which said "unable to deposit please do not litter" , The deposit was cash , the morning after i contacted the branch to notify them of the machine error and the assured me that it would be all ok and that i was the third peron who had contacted them regarding similar problems. on the 22nd Dec the money was still not in my account i contacted Westpac again and now they tell me that there is no way of checking where the deposit satchel is as the bank does not empty the machines and it was a Armaguard issue .It is now the 23rd of December and the money is still not in my account. I will be taking this further when i get to the office ,so people be aware no matter wht the bank says depositing money into these ATM's is not safe and the bank just shrugs you off . I still have the satchel number which was given to WESTPAC but they stated that the number may not be enough as they dont know where the satchel has ended up. Banks are cutting staff and replacing them with machines which obviously are not reliable and when things go wrong they just basically shrug you off with the words we dont know

I was very disappointed for the rude and impatient banker threw my cash on the table to me in the private room when I was trying to look for somewhere can place inside. That's bad experience of get non-respected thing!
