Eastwood Fish & Chips

OK so my brother was telling me about this Fish & Chip shop saying the the Hamburgers 🍔 are great you must try. So last night I did and I must say next level in size flavour and value. I thoroughly enjoyed 😉 the Hamburger with the lot and this shop is now I go to for burgers 🍔.

This is without doubt the BEST fish and chips shop in the Eastern suburbs! I tried their fried flake, dim sims and potato cakes once and they were all incredible! I went back again to check if it was a fluke but they nailed it again. Have been about 6 times now trying different things and I can never fault them. Their burgers are fantastic, the souvlaki is mouthwatering, they literally can do no wrong! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Take it from an ex Masterchef contestant, this place is worth a trip from the other side of Melbourne. I'm just glad they're 5 minutes away from me!

The fish is always cooked perfectly - crispy batter and flaky, tender fish. And the potato cakes? They're golden brown on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seriously addictive. 😋

The best crispy potato cakes in Melbourne, close to the best flake in Victoria. I travel a lot and try different fish and chip shops, this one is fantastic. The gyro I saw looks bloody good, will have to try that next time. uuummm and the guys there responded to my review same day, with a personalised thank you. I'm taking the family there Thursday night to support this business, the potato cakes and try the gyros...
PART 2 -- Went back.. Gyros great, got a lamb for me the missus had chicken, potato cakes still excellent, the chicken burger was not a frozen snitchzel but a crumb breast/thigh?? piece.. BLOODY RIPPER BOSS THANK YOU for the great service /food

The fiod here is always fresh. I get the kids a small chips and some grilled fish. Rhe chips are always crunchy. Delicious. The staff are friendly too.

Fish is great, the potato cakes even better. I asked for the potato cakes to be swimming in salt and vinegar and they kindly obliged. And they were still crispy. Chips are also really nice and crisp outside and soft inside. Top Fish & Chip shop in my books.

New owners have brought this shop back to its former glory. Food fresh and very nice.

Just moved into the area and needed a new local, hit the spot on a late Tuesday night a few weeks ago and again tonight. Food is spectacular and staff are lovely.

The owners of the shop are so nice! Fish, chips and steak sandwiches where the best!

The Burger in the pic is my custom, they are one of the few that stock sweet chilli sauce. The burgers in this shop have NEVER disappointed, the Quality is ALWAYS there, as os the freshness. (Side note : requesting uncooked onions makes a HUGE difference to taste) This place is always willing to please and the quality shows with every bite...

Recommended - easy parking, friendly owners who know exactly what they’re doing - clean shop, quick service, beautifully cooked good quality ingredients and very good value. The fish bites are excellent and combined with potato cakes, calamari rings and a dim sim makes for a satisfying meal. The value meal packs are also good value and worth considering.

Tonight was our first time trying. We are very satisfied. Good solid old school fish & chips.

Not overdone, but the potato cakes, chips, seafood sticks and dimmies were delicious like they used to be, the grilled flake was moist and tasty, and my chicken souvlaki was exactly how a good ol' fashioned fish & chip shop souva should be.

Price wasn't overkill either (remember, it's 2023, everything is expensive now). So if you aren't a flog that is chasing some sort of flog style F&C, and want good ol' fashioned F&C how they used to do it, these guys won't let you down.

the older gentleman serving is very kind as well as the other staff, the dim sims are definitely the best in Ringwood, Id even go as far as to say Melbourne

I love these fish and chips, would have to be the best in the area, I have been coming to this shop for over 30 years, although the shop has changed hands the product has stayed the same. One of the few remaining shops with hand made chips and potato cakes. For my work i drive all around the eastern suburbs and have tried many F&C shops, most shops sell those horrible frozen yellow powdery chips, I hope they keeping making there own!

Consistently great food, love their chips and potato cakes. Always fresh and seems like fresh oil unlike some places the chips taste off.
Will continue to go here while we can!

I decided to give the new owners a chance and I have to say I am SO HAPPY I did...the fish was fresh and cooked well,the chips AMAZING and the service was excellent..
The new shop looks and feels clean and welcoming..
Please give these guys a chance I can assure you that you won't be disappointed and like me you'll be going back again and again...😊😊

My favourite fish and chips in the area. It's a bonus I live within walking distance. Been our regular fish and chips for many years. They hand cut their chips. Always well cooked.
