Yuki and Shen have been some of the best people I've ever worked with. Yuki is fast, knowledgeable, empathetic and accommodating. She made me feel well cared for throughout the mortgage and government scheme application process.

I was offered four not-the-best mortgage deals (from brokers and bankers) before coming to Yuki. I was in a rush as my lease was ending and too much time was spent with other brokers. Yuki worked overtime for my application and coordinated well with my real estate agent and lawyer for a rush settlement. Yuki filled in all these complicated forms from the bank and government and left minimal work for me to do.

Great experience with Yuki and the branch. Any loan applicants will be very lucky to have Yuki as their banker.

Absolutely horrid! I was keen to attend this branch as I was in the area. There were 2 female staff and 1 customer. When it came to my turn, the staff was less than friendly with zero customer service. What is it with people from a certain large Asian country with zero customer service?

Discouraging Bendigo Boxhill Branch

I needed to open a business account today. Considering industry efficiency, I reached out to several banks this morning to schedule an appointment, but none answered. Recognizing Mondays are typically busy, I decided to explore a street with numerous bank branches. Upon arriving at Box Hill Central, home to about six banks, I observed that only Bendigo had just two customers. Time being of the essence, I spontaneously opted for Bendigo.

The first representative was amicable, inquiring about the service I sought. I expressed my intention to open a business account. She cautioned that opting for Bendigo might not be the best choice, as obtaining approval from the parent company would take at least two weeks. Despite the lengthy process, I preferred it over enduring the queues at other banks. The first representative, engaged with clients in a meeting room, left me at the counter. Subsequently, I approached the second representative, who, to my dismay, was remarkably impolite. Even though I was willing to endure a two-week wait, she declined to open a business account for me. Surprisingly, no one inquired about my ID or company details. Their subtle preference for steering me towards other banks was evident. I suggested obtaining the necessary forms to fill out and return for an appointment. Unfortunately, they refused, citing a lack of time, despite an empty branch. Proposing to open the account online met with a similar refusal. Bendigo Box Hill Branch responded to every request with a firm NO. While I could understand service limitations due to KPIs or staffing issues, the unprofessional demeanor of the second representative on February 5, 2024, was disheartening. If she wasn't in the right frame of mind that day or faced challenges, requesting a day off might have been a better choice.

I'd like to address the second representative at the counter on February 5, 2024. If you are not feeling content today or have encountered any difficulties, please contemplate taking a day off. If your request for a day off is denied, consider seeking employment that brings you joy, rather than allowing any negative impact on your bank's reputation.

Disheartened, I left Bendigo Box Hill Branch and headed to CBA. Despite a bustling branch with over 20 clients, I was approached within a minute. The representative apologized for the 90-minute wait, which I found acceptable, and informed me about the required documents. The experience highlighted the distinction between banks, emphasizing the significance of choosing wisely.

Avoid at all costs. Horrible customer service, the worst bank I've delt with by far.

I don’t know what to say, I went to this bank today. My first time to try to get a personal loan, I’ll make it short conversation. My friend recommend me to go this bank. Then I went inside I asked the staff if I can apply a personal loan the two lady just looking at me and asked me if iam the customer with them if not they can’t gave me. Then they started laughing at me,

Don't go here these people (Service Staff @bendigobank) talk down to you, laugh at you and don't own up too their mistakes. This branch should be closed down! Is this a racial bias being Australian (Anglo) in Box Hill?

Not recommended, This is one of the banks that can get a home loan through Victorian Home Buyer fund, unfortunately they refused to give me a loan because of I'm having join account with a housemate as I share rented place.

Absolutely horrible customer service - don’t recommend coming here.
