Authentic taste of India

Really good food as always. Proper North Indian flavour food. Came here second time and found out about buffet option, tried and was really great! All the items in the buffet menu were great too! Tried Shahi Paneer, Aloo Mutter, Dal and Butter Naan from the buffet. With Onion pakodas as starters and gulam jamun as desert. Everything was good.

For a Indian restaurant so far from a big city, I was highly impressed by the quality of this food. Beautifully done with fresh ingredients and fast service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and I very much look foward to eating here again. I'm yet to try other Indian restaurants in the area but Authentic taste of India has set a very high standard and is up there as perhaps the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to.

Wow! Just wow. I'm a huge fan of Indian cuisine, and I've savored it at many places, but 'Authentic Taste of India' in Albury, NSW, takes the crown as my absolute favorite. The moment you step inside, you're welcomed with the enticing aromas and vibrant ambiance that promise an exceptional dining experience. This is one of the best Indian restaurant in albury as they have very good and delicious Food which is very much aligned to the Indian authentic taste. While returning back from Dinner plain, we stopped over in Albury and had dinner here. Even though it was a busy night, Shreya accommodated us to have dinner. Thirdly, when we reached out there, she was very humble to welcome us and the food was served without waiting too much. Presentation was very nice. I would recommend to have Buffet because they have good taste. Shreya was really good with us. We had Butter chicken, naam, daal makhani, shahi paneer, wonderful gulab jamun, lamb rogan josh and butter chicken. Everything was served very fresh and nice.

I went there for dinner with my family and absolutely loved the whole time up there. The aroma, the environment was just beautiful and friendly staff making sure we were comfortable and guiding us with meal options, spice levels and bonus- theyre extra nice if youve got kids haha! We ordered samosa chaat, aloo tikki and paneer pakora. Made with perfection and absolutely lived up to the taste. Then we ordered some butter chicken(the best one i have ever had) , malai kofta and naan. Overall i had great experience and would absolutely go there so many times! Do go with your family and i can assure you will have amazing time!

Excellent food. Perfectly made rice and curry. Good portions and reasonably priced. Must visit if you're traveling past Albury, would definitely recommend.

We had buffet last night, food was good! Naan bread was awesome!!! Staffs were so friendly and helpful! Respect to the staffs!

I like this place and i do recommend it to those people who are foot lover, my favorite meal is lamb beriany and my drink is mangolasy same as always, but if you would order butter chicken you would love it i mean their foods all are great

This place certainly lived up to its name with its authentic taste. While in Albury, we had takeaway from this place and on the way back to Melbourne, we stopped for quick lunch. The food was delicious both times. We couldn't enjoy fully the lunch due to traveling schedule but Amritsari kulcha with chole was fabulous and the special masala chai they had was highlight for my dad as he was missing that authentic indian tea during the trip. We will definitely visit again to enjoy more amazing food.

We visited today for dinner while travelling between Sydney to Melbourne. The food and customer service were great. Especially the lady on the counter was so welcoming. Will visit again soon.

Excellent service and delicious food! The currys were amazing and in good quantities. The plain naan was exquisite. Beware the Samosas are as enormous as they are tasty.

What an absolute gem of a restaurant. The lamb cutlets are tender, juicy and full of flavour. The butter chicken is up there with the best I've ever had. Both the vege and chicken samosas are crispy and flavoursome (even after being transported for delivery). You can't fault the naan bread. It's impossible to criticise the place and the price is affordable and more than reasonable. Best Indian in Albury and one of the best I've ever had. 10/10.

Absolutely hands down the best Indian food we’ve ever eaten. Every dish we had was sensational and the service was also top shelf. Would highly recommend anyone to eat here. Wish I could give more then ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Ordered dinner on phone to pick up while on road trip from Sydney to Melbourne. Minutes later realised gps skipped Albury. Called restaurant explained the situation and offered to pay. They went out of their way to deliver food at petrol station while I took short detour. I am indeed grateful for their gesture.

Now about food, paneer tikka, gobi Manchuria, butter nan, veg biryani, kadai paneer and papdi chat. Great tasting food , generous portion at reasonable prices. Paneer Tikka is must try.

Seriously best Indian food we have had in years. Authentic flavours, knowledgeable service and lively atmosphere due to happy customers. A real find. Eat here. You will not be disappointed. Try the goat curry - rich and satisfying.

Wonderful place , tasty food . Offers many options of food . Offers uber eats , dine in , take out . Best Chicken Biriyani in the town ( i have tried it multiple times) . Great staff . 🙌🙌

Lives up to its name. The buffet provided a great selection of dishes for all palates. Loved every dish. Highly recommended. Coming back again!!!!!
