Hellfire Bluff Distillery

Amazing little distillery showcasing some delicious local spirits and liqueurs. I don’t even like gin but I liked some of these! definitely worth the trip! Would 100% go back again. 2023 How exciting! We received our Hellfire goodies today. OMG, we love the Salted Carmel Coffee Liqueur. Thanks to Rose and the tasting team at Salamanca Markets last Saturday we are in love with more of the Gins in your range. Ruby, thank you for looking after us. Stopped here on my way down to Port Arthur...not to far from Sorrell, to check out where my favourite Sloe Gin is distilled. We were greeted warmly and then sat down to hear a description of each gin, vodka and liqueur before tasting them. It was so informative and the chit chat was fantastic. Would recommend this stop to everyone!

Absolutely loved our time at the distillery! We loved all of the gins and their vodka and wanted to buy them all… Harry was a legend and an absolute joy to chat to, could have stayed all day!

Drive up through a big ol' potato farm and boom!... There's a shed with an awesome little tasting setup and all the secret distilling equipment inside. Nice friendly bloke greeted us and got stuck in with the gin and how he does it. Unbelievable product, great authentic no BS experience and you walk away with a plan to get tipsy and some great bottles of gin! I'd give these guys 6/5 stars if I could! Wow - amazing Gin & Vodka. Very friendly small distillery that’s very welcoming and has great products.

We showed up without a booking and were treated to one of the best tasting experiences ever. Harry is a legend and spent nearly and hour walking us through all the hellfire range, their history and answering all of our questions, great grog great place.

Great distillery, amazing view, lovely patient and informative staff. This is a must visit - the big difficulty is choosing which of thier huge selection of gins you'll take home.

Worth the stop, great quality liquor! A little bit of vodka, rum and gin. Limoncello was delicious. Nice relaxed environment.

Great experience. Dropped in for a super friendly and chill tasting. Tasting was free, couldn't not grab one of the coffee and sloe liqueurs which were amazingly delicious. Gin and vodka was also really good! Would strongly recommend!

We arrived about 20 minutes before closing time and had the full story on how to make gin and vodka and tastings. We weren’t rushed and our host was amazingly friendly and super helpful. If you like gin and vodka, it’s definitely a distillery you need to visit.

I also love the fact they are supporting the local community with additional businesses that supports the local community.

Stopped by Hellfire Bluff on my way through Tassie, and chanced upon this gem of a distillery. Harry their distiller makes it an awesome tasting experience and his knowledge and passion for his craft shines through. We tried all of their spirits and were torn in the decision making process because each one of their products is excellent! Ended up with about two bottles of gin and one of their vodka (extremely happy with my purchases but wish I'd have been able to get one of everything) ... cannot speak highly enough of them. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would say that they're not to be missed if you're travelling through Tassie and enjoy a good drink (or five) A huge thank you to Harry and Hellfire Bluff for making my Christmas!

Visited from the States 3 months before the pandemic. Simply phenomenal - went for a quick tasting, ended up staying and chatting for 45 minutes and took home two bottles of the Slo Gin (plus another of their summer gin).

Seriously great gin and the host was very knowledgeable and friendly. Gin tasting is free and didn’t feel at all pressured to buy a bottle (although we did because it was great). A must if you’re around the area

Had the most incredible time at Hellfire. Stumbled across the distillery and it was the best decision ever. Excellent staff and fantastic gin!

Massive line up of gins and they bloody deliver. The Piquant herbal is outstanding - so many vibrant flavours. The vodka was a real surprise too. Highly recommended

The lady was really friendly and gave me a taste of everything! I wish there was an actual bar that could serve a flight or a few drinks though to have on site.

What a great setup! Very friendly staff, nice location off the beaten track. Prices reasonable too. I’d recommend the coffee liquor that’s due to be released next month! Keep it up guys!
