Beautiful display of cakes, sandwiches, bread and pies. I like the lighting in display cases. Lovely inviting atmosphere. I had White chocolate and raspberry muffin, raspberry scone and Lemongrass and ginger tea. Muffin was a bit too sweet to my liking but scone was lovely. Service is good and flowers in front of shop are nice too. Highly recommend it!

A cute cosy little spot we stopped at for lunch during our roadtrip to Wilson’s Prom! Absolutely loved the rustic vintage country cottage aesthetic, decorations made the cafe very welcoming!

The food was mediocre, nothing too special, a little dry but I appreciate that it’s homemade with locally sourced ingredients - definitely worth a visit for the vibes.

First time at the Olive at Loch, we had high tea, food was fresh and delicious, the cakes amazing. Their high tea is quite generous, had plenty leftover to take home, the best for us so far.

Graig the owner is a host of the mostest, took us to tour the old bakery at the back with some history, him and his staff were very attentive and made us feel comfortable. I highly recommend, it was a good experience and hope to go back soon ❤❤❤

Very wonderful place to visit. Didn’t eat here but visit the bakery in the back, it’s kept the old oven and very old school and lovely. There is a guy explaining some story behind the store, which is awesome and nice, sweet. Would be back to try the food for sure. Wait for me 😜

Lovely quaint cafe and shop in Loch, a very cute small village worth a stop on the drive to Gippsland. Menu is on the wall, mostly focaccia, cakes etc. Fair prices, great food, welcoming staff and great atmosphere.

What a lovely find! My partner and I were out exploring Loch and found this gem - lovely owner and staff, food was delicious and if you're lucky, occasionally they bring out some filtered coffee to try (I don't usually have filtered coffee and it hit all the right spots). We were taken through the history of the bakery and cafe by the owner and it was such a lovely insight to the origins of the place. A piece of pioneer history in the Gippsland region - you must visit at least once!

My family and I dropped by for brunch at this lovely spot on the way from Melbourne to Wilson’s Prom. The cafe had such a cute design to all parts of it, definitely walk to the back where they have more seating that makes you feel like you’re in someone’s rustic vintage-decorated home! You can also walk around the front of their store selling beautiful homewares while waiting, and once the food arrives you’ll be treated with a flavourful meal! All their sandwiches come with either salad or fries as well, so you’ll be well filled up.

Such a lovely little spot in Loch, and on a beautiful day like today, eating or having a coffee outside, this cute cafe is the best! The food was excellent. I had the breakfast roll and a mug of coffee. I couldn't get enough of the coffee, which almost had an aromatic flavor. So I had to get another one with of their lovely blackberry jam donuts, so good.
Updated Nov2023. They now have more indoor dining tables out the back in the old bakery. It's a lovely little room and great if you want to catch-up with someone in a quiet little spot

We visited Olive at Loch for a high tea. The bake house was a well thought out tranquil, romantic setting. The food was delicious. We received a beautifully arranged huge 3 tier cake platter of just the right mix of hot and cold, sweet and savory foods. Too much to eat so we were given a take home box for what we couldn't eat. There was a huge range of beverages to choose from again both hot and cold. The bake house was clean and quaint, with interesting historical information to take in. The staff were polite, friendly and attention to detail was pleasing. Thank you to Louise, Candace and Craig for a wonderful, memorable high tea. We will definitely be back!

Stopped by for brunch whilst travelling through. Loch is a lovely little village and Olive’s was great. I had the sweet potato stack which was very tasty (loved the relish that came with it), and a huge pot of tea which they offered to top up if needed. The shop has many unique things for sale and the back room where we sat was full of books to pursue if you so choose.
Would definitely stop in again if passing by.

I really enjoyed this place. My dad, brother and I were driving home from a holiday down at Inverloch and decided to stop at loch to get a snack. The food we ordered came quickly as well as the drinks. They have a fridge at the front of the shop and I’m the window there are biscuits and loaves of bread. The food tastes really good and the drinks also. Overall we recalled liked olive at loch and would definitely go back.

One of the best Cafes I've been. It has a cosy country atmosphere and decor is outstanding and unique. Come in on a rainy day and relax away with the music a coffee and a Reuben sandwich. Make this a compulsory stop on your trips to Wilson's prom.

So many yummy looking choices. Dining in is on the verandah outside. We were quite comfortable having breakfast there as you are protected from the weather. The Bacon, Brie & Caramelized Onion Toastie and Breaky Burger were delicious. Coffee and Hot Chocolate were also really good. While you wait for your food you can browse homewares, giftware and books in the adjoining space. Will definitely be back.

What a wonderful find 🧐😯

The food options are plenty and tasty, as are the drinks. The staff are friendly, the space is decorated incredibly beautifully, and the store next to it has some very unique and beautiful homeware items you can purchase!

Finally had a chance to dine here today after rave reviews from my colleagues. It met the mark - loved dining under the verandah, the mushroom tart was beautiful the coffee on point. Great service too, will definitely be back for more than a quick lunch.
