Sweet Wheat

I bought two loaves from Coffee+Cake+Honey in Swansea today. The fruit loaf is the best I have had anywhere - superbly moist sourdough with just the right balance of dried fruits. The dark rye is the real deal: heavy, dense, strong. I have never been in Perth but will make a special detour there just to visit your café.

Great baked goods.
Lamb sausage roll was up there as on of the top I have eaten. Lamb mixture was well seasoned and Juicy. The pastry was flaky and buttery.

Home made Kingston was something i have not seen before and was a delicious snack.

The chili cheese pretzel was well salted and everything you want in a pretzel.

We also got a small ciabatta which was softer than expected but still had think chewy crust.

Coffee was good. A bit on the milky side but more than enjoyable with some yummy baked goods.

Sweet Wheat also appear at Launceston Harvest markets on occasion.

Would recommend the stop of in Perth just for this place.

Brilliant sourdough & treat bakery in Perth. Goods also sold weekly at the Saturday Market (Launceston). Great bread and awesome treats (all of them)! Enjoyed my filled baguette takeaway lunch yesterday (ham, cheese & pesto). Lovely people too!

Best beef sausage roll
They serve with some relish (made with dill pickles and mustard) on the side. Absolutely fantastic taste. The beef tastes like kebab (tikka) and the pasty is not dry.

Absolutely everything at SweetWheat is delicious, well made, with a high attention to detail. The chocolatines are the perfect combination of soft and crispy. Couldn't ask for anything more, everything is delicious. The coffee is also exceptional and the staff are lovely. Highly recommended!

Best vanilla slice I've had in my life. Such well balanced flavour and the pastry was sooooo good.

I was a little hesitant given the other reviews but my own experienced proved them unfounded. Delicious croissants- and I am very fussy about them! Crunchy outside, layered, buttery inside and clearly fresh. We also got some pretzels to go that were dense and doughy and delicious as they should be. Friendly people and a lovely spot to sit outside with our dog - cozy blanket provided on a cool day. Thoroughly recommend!

Popped in as we were passing looking for a sandwich. The lady was busy closing up as it had just gurmed 1 pm but we had a couple of the most delicious cheese (?manchego?) red onion and pickles bagels. Absolutely gorgeous. We also got a couple of cups of tea. Perfect lunch stop 😁

Gorgeous little bakery had such lovely looking breads and cakes at reasonable prices. The lady that served us was lovely and friendly. Aswell as a really nice coffee aswell definitely recommend when going from Launceston to hobart
