The conservation park is such a good experience overall, it is a wonderful place to spend time, whether it's for a day out with family, a peaceful picnic, or simply to immerse oneself in nature's beauty and sounds. The park also has lots of spots to sit and take in the wildlife at your own pace. The park is nice and cosy with open spaces for many free roaming animals like the kangaroos, wallabies, peacock and a variety of birds. Make sure to catch some of the keeper talks they were a really interesting insight into the animals natural history. This centre serves to protect endangered and vulnerable species and promote education and awareness. We went on a hot day, but there is a good deal of shade, so we did not let that deter us from exploring the whole park. Ranger Red is a larger than life naturalist was great talking to him,

Better experience than any zoo I've been to. For such an underspoken zoo, it's extremely dense with a lot to do. We spent too much time in the walk in aviary alone, the birds are very very friendly and chipper.

We spent time here not due to a big and expensive park, but just because there is that much to do. Not to underplay the lack of other facilities; the bathroom and catering is lacking, but the zoo itself is great.

What an awesome zoo. Very natural and all the animals looked well looked after. Great price and great family experience.

Highly recommend for toddlers and young kids! The animal encounters were amazing! Highlights were feeding the birds 🐦🕊 and holding the snake 🐍..very cool! Kangaroos 🦘 were actually eating food too and active for once! Super friendly staff 🙂 easy to get around, not too much walking and all the enclosures are close by, not spread out too much.

Pathways are a bit narrow so beach wagons are a bit tricky to manuver. No onsite cafe (just icecream and drinks fridge).

Visited with my son during the New Years and Christmas break.

It was a really great experience being able to see alot of Australian native animals, especially for the price.

The owner and staff are really really lovely, you can tell they have a real passion for their work place.
They even provide a map and feeding food for certain animals that are outlined on the map!

Im definitely going to visit it again in the future :)

We had so much fun on a family outing here! Great variety of animals, birds, and reptiles, but what made the day amazing was talking to the zookeepers and learning about the animals and their care. Everyone was so informative and passionate about the animals!

We booked the koala experience and I was interested in the wombat experience too but learned the wombat booking is only available to book the day before and happens first thing in the morning! Highly recommend, so memorable and fun.

Loved this place, took the time to chat with Red and his staff, they were super knowledgeable and friendly. My favorite was the pen with the llamas and goats and deer(?!), make sure you feed the little sheep because he gets bullied by the bigger ones 🥰

Such an amazing zoo!! The amount of hands on experience they offer, the variety of animals and the time that all staff take to talk with you is incredible!

The personalised care all the keepers so clearly have for the animals and educating others is amazing!

Shoutout to keeper Alex, for taking his time to chat with us about the squirrel gliders and other animals around the zoo. His passion for all the animals within the zoo really shows. Highly recommend going for a day out to Redz zoo!

My fave. The bird walk through is my absolute favourite thing. I’ve been twice in the past month. Will be back again before the end of year 🥰

Thanks Ranger Red and staff, we all had a great time. A special shout out to Megan who took the boys for their junior zoo keepers certificate, she did an excellent job with the group and we recommend you considering doing the junior zoo keepers tour.

Amazing experience. We liked Red’s Zoo way more than bigger zoos we’ve been to because it’s more interactive. Staff were really friendly and it was great value.

We had a great day here, friendly staff and friendly animals.
It's not a fancy place if that's what your looking for buts it's got a fantastic selection of birds, animals, insects, etc for the price it's worth it. Got to hold a snake and a lizard at no extra charge. The animal handler was so lovely and full of information. Our favourite was the walk through kookaburras enclosure, what beautiful birds they are.
Finished with an icecream and buying a soft toy from the huge selection in store again at a good price. Of course it was a kookaburra 🥰 make sure you go when it's not to sunny so the animals are out, thanks for a great day.

Visited with grandson.
Had a great couple of hours wandering around feeding and petting some of the animals.
Walk through bird aviaries were fun with a couple of cheeky birds landing on us.
A hands on snake experience as well .

Had a lovely day at Reds with my kids. We paid for the wombat experience, which was really cool. It was a hot day, but the animals were all still out and about and friendly as can be. Will be going back for sure :)

It was quite lucky that we got to know the junior zoo keeper program from the YouTube video. It was a very unique experience for the kids to have a hands-on experience with animals. It has already been two days. My kids still nagging to me and wish to go back again. :)

This place has lots of different Australian wildlife but mostly birds in aviaries. A great place for young kids with some areas to pet and feed the animals. This is the first place I've seen a wombat as they are never seen at Perth zoo. The zoo is well maintained and kept quite clean too.
