Moore River Estuary Lookout

This is a great place to stop by on the way to Lancelin sand dunes and pinnacles.

Fuel top up point. Light house is on the left going out of the car park.

Can freshen up at the caravan park, next to the beach. BBQ and toilet facilities available. Covered sitting area, excellent for get together, kids to enjoy and play.

Retail store in front of the parking to suit your need.

Great view specially in the evening.

Excellent setup for viewing the estuary/ocean or accessing the beach. Get there on foot or drive. The walkway, platforms & stairs are sturdy & in good condition with a number of bench seats available (in the gazebo & on the ocean-side viewing platform) & rubbish bins by the carpark. The info boards & plaques provide some interesting facts & stories inc. wildlife, local indigenous (the Yued people) & shipwreck histories.

From the Moore Estuary Lookout Pavillion is the best spot to the uninterrupted scenery of the town, the Moore River Estuary on one side, and the Moore Rivermouth beach on the other with the splendid sound of the Indian Ocean. From there, you will also see the Guilderton Caravan Park, an ideal retreat and an almost undiscovered getaway for visitors of all ages. The pavillion is close to the Moore Estuary Lookout Carpark with direct access to the beach and the river.

Cool lookout place, nice walk up if you want to go from the parking lot below and climb up either from the beach side or the nearest to the footpath and great exercise going up them 😅
ORRRR you can just drive up to the parking lot next to it.
Wooden though and fairly old but still great lookout

Offers good views of the estuary, where the black water of the Moore River reaches the ocean.
