Well worth the drive to see the falls . Need to be mildly fit for steps up to Carpark . Picnic area is lovely for kids to run around and look at the small creek and falls . Flowers everywhere glad we went for the drive

Only access is via dirt/gravel road, which may be a concern for some people. Not the biggest or spectacular waterfall, but certainly worth the visit if in the region. There is parking for a number of vehicles, I can't imagine there being too many visitors at the same time, but in that event, parking may be an issue.
To access the falls from parking is a small trek down some slightly irregular concrete stairs, caution should be take by children and elders, but there is also a handrail.
There's a picnic area with benches, apparently there is a bin but I didn't see it. Please take your rubbish with you and keep this place as beautiful as you can.

During summer it is not more than a trickle cascading down into a small pool.
The views are worth the short drive on dirt road and a short walk to a viewing platform halfway down. A deteriorated, slippery path leads further down for better photos or adventure.
There is a separate, grassy picnic area with 3 tables and a rubbish bin.
Edit: Water is rushing after the rains.
It is all green around, wet months are definitely the time to visit.

Impressive! The Hindmarsh Falls are an attractive natural waterfall. You need to take a dirt road to get there but it is well-maintained. There are also steps down to the waterfall and they are a bit uneven but nothing too strenuous. The views are good without being spectacular. There is vegetation blocking the lookout somewhat but you still get a solid view. Overall, worth a visit if you are in the area.

Such a lovely location. Easy to get too but not a lot of parking area at the falls. There is other parking before if full.

Wallaman Falls in Queensland are Australia's 🇦🇺tallest permanent waterfall with a plunge of nearly 300 metres (980 ft). Wollomombi Falls in New South Wales are second with a 220-metre (720 ft) combined drop and Ellenborough Falls, also in New South Wales, is third plunging 160 metres (520 ft) as a single drop.[

After heavy winter rain, Hindmarsh Falls was a spectacular sight. An easy walk to get to the falls. The car park was a bit small and the road to it was heavily potholed, but well worth the visit nonetheless. Picnic ground carpark is better, and only a relatively short walk away. Picnic grounds are also lovely and have a lot of wrens.

Beautiful spot, with lots of birds and an amazing range of vegetation. Well worth a stop. The walk from the car park to the falls is only about 200 meters, partly across steps but easily accessible. Unfortunately, not suitable for wheelchairs.

Fantastic place to be when the falls are flowing. Is so peaceful being surrounded by nature. Be careful when you walk on the rock path as it can be slippery when wet.

Really lovely falls. Road up had a lot of potholes but not too bad. Picnic area was nice and quiet.

Nice walk to the viewing point of the falls, with railing and manageable steps. If u park at the picnic area that has more parking space, u will have to walk up a gentle slope. Can drive up until the entrance of the steps to the falls, but less parking space.

Great place to stop and take the kids out for a walk to view mother nature at her best. Theres well made stairs all the way down with a safe hand rail to view and photograph the falls. Up the top there is a top picnic spot with benches and a grassy area. Any place like these free to enjoy are what we need more of. Would have loved to get even closer to the falls but it would become dangerous. The sound of the rapids roaring is one to experience

Easy short walk, a little steep but very manageable. With all the rain it was blasting through! Great to see great viewing areas.

It's a quick hike to the falls from the parking area. There is a short drive down an unpaved road to that parking area.

Beautiful relaxing place to visit, a short walk to the Falls but not suitable for disabled, small amount of fitness required, then a lovely picnic area by a pretty creek to have lunch, no toilets though.
