Calais Motel Coolah

Couldn't fault our stay. Rebecca was lovely and very helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and the air-conditioning was spot on during a very hot day/night. We will definitely be back again.

While the rooms are only small they are immaculate. The lady who is the owner or manager is lovely. There is a coffee machine, microwave and fridge. Short walk to the Top Pub and shops. Would definitely stay there again.

Situated in a very quiet location,close to country pub,for a meal etc...

Rebecca and Aaron at Calais Motel were absolute legends! The Cobar Roosters First Grade team travelled to Coolah for the Castlereagh League Knockout and needed accommodation that was going to comfortably fit some very big boys.

Rebecca catered to our fluctuating numbers (football players have dedication problems lol) and communication between myself and her was always timely and reassuring.

The facilities and location of Calais Motel worked perfectly for our players as they were a short walk away from the 'Top' and 'Bottom' pub and close to the Bakery the next day!

Thanks guys. You're both legends. We will be back :)

My time here was great. Great people, great room, great services, and WiFi included isn't bad at all! Rebecca was great to talk to and very easy going. Awesome owners making the stay much more comfortable, fun, and enjoyable! Thank you Rebecca and Aaron!

Good motel to stay in for a night or two. Our clean and nice room was well equipped (toaster, fridge with milk, microwave, TV, kettle and coffee maker with coffee/tea provided, iron etc). The bathroom looked newly renovated.

If we were nearby sometime, we would spend a night there again.

Amazing motel to stay in. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. Room are extremely well equipped, toaster, fridge with milk, microwave, TV, kettle and coffee maker with tea, coffee sugar etc supplied. Extra blankets, pillows, towels and very clean throughout. Bathrooms are clean and paint, tiles etc look newly renovated, shower was great. Location is on a quiet steet with no traffic noise and only a 3 minute walk to center of town. I highly recommend this motel.

The Black Stump went above and beyond our expectations. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very well made up with everything you could need: microwave, toaster, ironing board, coffee maker, tv, kettle etc and an excellent supply of teas and coffees. The sheets were clean and the towels thick and fluffy. The location was very quiet. The staff were first rate with their excellent service. Highly recommended.

What an absolutely beautiful town to stay. What’s even more impressive is the hospitality of the hosts at the Calais Motel. Rebecca and her husband certainly know how to make their guests feel right at home. Thank you for another memorable stay. See you both again soon.

Such a nice little motel, very friendly service from the woman who checked me in, the room was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable.

While its an old building it looks like the rooms have been recently renovated.

I would not hesitate to stay again.

Lovely and clean and quiet, updated bathroom, electric blanket, coffee machine, soft towels with a peppermint mentos candy placed on each towel was a lovely gesture. Stopped in for one night on our way through town.

Value for money. Rooms and garden beautifully renovated. Great service, even when I left something behind it was posted to me at no cost.

The most beautiful little place with the little extras making it an extra special stay. 💕 Coffee Machine! 👌🏻. Sewing kit and hand sanitiser and just sensibly thought out things to make it better than your average cheap motel. Everything was immaculate!

We booked late and got in later, very friendly service. Room was excellent, the heater was on before our arrival. Updated bathroom, very clean. Would stay again 👌🏼😊

My family and I stayed for one night and Rebecca couldn't do enough to accommodate us. Our rooms were absolutely spotless, and very comfortable.

I travel a lot for work and this was far and away the best experience I've had in a very long time with a country motel. For that matter, it was a better experience than many I've had in metro hotels.

I met Rebecca who advised that they had just taken over the motel a week ago. She could not have been more hospitable and friendly.
Extras in the room were microwave and a very well stocked fridge including wine, beer, chocolate, chips (more like a city motel).
Had a lovely evening sitting outside on the deck having a beer.
New owners say they are going to make some improvements but it was a great room for the price.
Clean and comfortable.

Lovely clean rooms with all the amenities, would recommend in a heart beat.

Rebecca is amazing.. we had our employee there one week, the following week he stayed somewhere else (as Black Stump Motel was booked out) without heating, she offered blankets, heaters and use of their kitchen so he can cook. So accommodating when it wasn't even her responsibility, a true angel!

Beautiful accommodation and great value. From the immaculately presented room, to the ultra comfortable beds and well stocked( and priced) mini bar, I can not recommend this motel enough. From check in, to check out, our stay was fantastic. Owner, Rebecca, was lovely and very accommodating.
