Olio Bello Lakeside Glamping

We had a very relaxing and tranquil stay at Olio Bello during summer. The breakfast baskets are very thoughtful and cute and the bed was excellent. Highlight was reading by the lake and enjoyed seeing frogs and dragonflies everywhere.

Gorgeous location and glamping tent! There were lots of extra special touches and the check in was easy. Breakfast hampers are delicious and we also helped ourselves to some of the specialty items to purchase. Perfect place to relax and enjoy Christmas!

Every detail has been rendered perfectly to ensure an amazing stay. From the owner bringing my kids a lamb to bottle feed, to the fire pits being setup and restocked with wood every day, the amazing handcrafted breakfasts, the entire property landscaped to perfection, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Not for a moment did it feel like they wanted our money, it honestly felt like they genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. Thank you!

Amazing experience. Service is very thoughtful and they provide most of the things you would need to have an enjoyable stay within the tent. Interior is very modern and equipped with even USB chargers. Tranquil surrounding with free roaming ducks and a lake. Definitely opt for the breakfast basket. We had a really good time!

We stayed for 7 days. We definitely loved the experience and the peaceful area. I wish we had have been able to use our own barbeque on the deck. A toaster would also have been really nice! The only issue we really had was we were never able to get to the shop due to it opening at 11 and shutting at 3- we were always out at those times which was a shame!

Stayed two nights. So peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Loved the lake view and the noisy birds. Well-appointed interior, spacious shower, comfy bed and nice selections of goodies to enjoy. Easy to communicate with. We would come back!

Our family really enjoyed our 3D 2N stay at this place! (Wished it was longer!) It is a really relaxing place where we just enjoyed nature! A perfect school holiday destination for everyone!

First time glamping and enjoyed two amazing days at Olio Bello Lakeside with a tent overlooking the small lake and surrounding trees. The property is in a quiet road so no intrusive noises other than nature and a working olive farm.
Appreciated the luxury bathroom, a good size living/kitchenette and sleeping area and different seating options inside and out. The birdlife is prolific and gave us amazing sights of black and green cockatoos in big swarms in their natural habitat. For visitors willing to be patient and stay up late night, kangeroos graze on the grass (and also between the olive trees early morning and early evening). Like the no noise after 8 pm policy.
Pre-packed breakfast is good, could be more substantial for the price of accommodation. Same for pre-packed dinner, which is an option at additional cost. Will stay again.

My son and I stayed 4 nights and we had our first experience of glamping. An absolutely beautiful place. So relaxing and peaceful, loved everything from accommodation, lawn games to yummy healthy breakfast delivered everyday. The cafe was so convenient on site with lovely food and great tastings. Staff were lovely. My moments sitting with a coffee 6am on the verandah listening to nature's kookaburras. Will definitely be back.

Approx 250km south of Perth. Excellent glamping experience. No TV or Radio. Free wi-fi. Three nights is enough here. Beautiful, serene environment with a man-made lake. Kitchenette, King size bed. Breakfast brought in daily and placed In fridge. Fruit juice, muesli or bircher muesli, fruit, pannacotta or yoghurt, milk. Possibly also a pastry. There is tea, coffee, milk and a large bottle of water. Welcome gift is a small bottle of olive oil with small breadstick. No restaurant, but a Cafe with limited hours, you can preorder at Cafe.. BBQ facilities. Margaret River and Cowaramup is a short drive away for shopping and dining options. There are of course several wineries not too far away.

2023> back again and damn COVID for keeping us away. Went with kids this time and everyone had a fantastic time. Liked the on premise walking guide, new fire pits (since it was winter) and warmed bathroom floors + endless hot water (putting the Glam into Glamping). Breakfasts remain delicious and approachable.

2018> Absolutely awesome, will be back again and again

Absolutely fantastic stay. Our breaths were taken away the moment we arrived, and we absolutely loved our 4 night stay. Where do we even begin? The "tent" was luxurious and comfortable. Nice plush beds and large living space for my 2yo to run around. It was well-equipped, with a microwave, sink, and refrigerator. The fireplace provides enough warmth on a cold winter's night too. Getting the breakfast package meant we don't have to worry about preparing or buying breakfast the night before. The breakfasts were huge every morning, with juice, breads, yogurt, granola, fruits, milk, and porridge that you can heat in the microwave.

The location was brilliant. We had the tent that faced the lake and waking up to that view every morning was just magical. The area was also very suitable for kids to run around and play, even in winter. At night it was mostly pitch dark and it was fun to explore near the tent with torchlights especially for kids who have lived in the city all their lives. The campfire right outside the tent was also a very nice touch. Sitting there starring at stars is a magical experience.

I also highly recommend ordering dinner in on one or two nights. The pasta from the kitchen is just excellent. Having nice warm pasta topped with excellent olive oil from the farm, sitting next to a warm fireplace, starring out at the lake during sunset- that feeling can't be expressed in words. You have to experience that yourself.

We highly recommend this and will DEFINITELY be back.

Ahh the serenity...a wonderfully relaxing experience.
The "tent" was clean, tidy and invoked a sense of luxury.
Breakfast was a delight, as was the Cafe.
The lake walk was enjoyed several times. Trinity, the resident dog, made us smile.
All the staff were freindly and helpful.
Recommend this to all and look forward to doing again.

Very nice bedroom and bathroom. Note that there are ear plugs in the bathroom if there is a strong wind event in progress. Wish I knew that the first night ...

We spent 3 nights in this amazing picturesque glamping accomodation. Even though the weather wasn't the best it didn't affect us as we were so cosy in our "tent". The "tent" was more of a stylish appartment with all the modern comforts of home. It was great to relax and get back to nature in this awesome place. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning loved everything about this place from the tents to the location to small details like having board games in the room and games outside and the breakfast hampers. Such a relaxing place, would highly recommend.

Had a lovely experience staying here over a weekend, the accommodation itself is super clean and the scenery around it even better! Bubbles on arrival which I pre-organised was a great touch and we didnt want to leave. Thanks for our experience at Olio Bello :)

Simply incredible. The 'tents' are enormous and lavishly styled, whilst still retaining many of the characteristics that make camping... Camping.

They also have a great cafe/restaurant.
